Winner Announced On
January 18, 2012
THE BRIEF
Queen: legends of rock and roll and one of the most influential bands in history were responsible for some of the world's most celebrated music for which they earned 18 number one albums and 18 number one singles.

In celebration of Queen's 40th Anniversary, band members Brian May and Roger Taylor along with guest judges, Justin Shirley-Smith and Kris Fredriksson, Queen's resident sound engineer and sound producer are inviting musicians to remix the hit song 'Don't Stop Me Now'.

One winner will be invited to the prestigious and globally acclaimed Metropolis Studios in London - the same studio where Queen famously recorded many of their hit albums including 'Made In Heaven' and 'Innuendo'.
ABOUT QUEEN
Recorded in August and September 1978 at Super Bear Studios in France, 'Don't Stop Me Now' is one of the most recognised and universally loved Queen songs in the band's catalogue. A UK Top 10 hit in 1979, the track, written by Freddie Mercury and taken from the band's seventh studio album 'Jazz', is a paean to 'having a good time' and is Queen's most celebratory 'feel good' party anthem. 'Don't Stop Me Now''s lyrics, "Tonight I'm Gonna Have Myself A Really Good Time..." were recently voted as the UK's favourite Queen lyrics in a poll conducted by HMV.

2011 sees Queen celebrate their 40th anniversary with the re-issue of their fifteen studio albums with bonus material, the 25th Anniversary DVD release of 'Live At Wembley Stadium', the book '40 Years Of Queen', plus the release critically acclaimed documentary 'Days Of Our Lives' on DVD/Blu Ray (November 28th).
