Produce creative and striking animations for Bombay Sapphire cocktails

Bombay Sapphire return to Talenthouse for a second time to celebrate their global mission, 'Stir Creativity' - a call to arms for everyone to engage with their creativity and unlock their creative potential.

Bombay Sapphire gin – with its iconic blue bottle – is renowned for its versatile and balanced flavour profile; the perfect canvas for creativity, with fresh citrus and juniper flavours that help create endless possibilities in cocktailing making. How will you bring their 3 hero cocktails to life?

Create bold, artistic, thumb-stopping animations that bring to life Bombay Sapphire's hero cocktails: G&T, Negroni, Mule.

The judging panel want you to throw off the shackles, push creative boundaries and get experimental! A minimum of 5 and up to 8 pieces will be chosen as a Selected Creator and receive £2,000 each.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
  • Celebrate 'Stir Creativity' and produce striking and artistic animation to capture the method and simplicity of making 1 of these 3 hero cocktails: Gin & Tonic, Negroni, Mule
  • Your animation should capture the method of making the cocktails in an unusual and creative way that jumps out from the newsfeed
  • Here are the cocktail recipes. Use the glassware and garnishes that are detailed in the recipes. Please don't include measurement/quantities in your work
  • Bring to life the ingredients and Bombay Sapphire botanicals that make the cocktails taste so good
  • Include the iconic Bombay Sapphire bottle in the opening frame, and the 'Stir Creativity' logo in the closing frame. Download assets
  • Be inspired by the Bombay Sapphire colour palette when creating your animation
  • You can also use the Bombay Sapphire fonts, logos, patterns in this asset pack if you would like
  • Your animation should be 4:5 orientation (portrait) and between 6 and 10 seconds in length. If your animation is simple, 6 seconds would be the ideal length

  • Only include 1 of the 3 cocktails in an individual submission, you may submit up to 10 pieces of work
  • If you wish to depict drinks or cocktails in your submission, please always show drinks as full and containing ice. No images of straws please
  • You should not show or imply drunkenness, that the brand has curative or therapeutic properties, irresponsible drinking, dangerous situations, anything offensive, include any people under the age of 25 or any other brands in your artwork
  • Bombay Sapphire would love you to share your work across social media! Please tag @bombaysapphire and use #bombaysapphire #stircreativity so they can see and potentially share your work

THE INCENTIVES
A minimum of 5 and up to 8 pieces of work will be chosen by Bombay Sapphire. The Selected Creators will:
  • Potentially have there work showcased across Bombay Sapphire social media channels
  • Receive £2,000 each
Creative Invite Guidelines
  • Who is eligible: This opportunity is open globally and you need to be at least 25 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction of primary residence at the time of submission. Employees and their immediate family and household members of Bombay Sapphire (BACARDI) and Talenthouse are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law.
  • Limit ten (10) submissions per creator or teams.
  • Please note, that during the Submission Period, your submission may be featured on Bombay Sapphire (BACARDI) social media channels with credit given to you.
  • Submissions will not be visible to the public until after the announcement.
  • All submissions must be your own original work (meaning you are not allowed to use third-party pre-existing copyright materials and/or stock imagery in your submission) except for the material provided by Bombay Sapphire (BACARDI). All rights in and to the material provided are reserved by Bombay Sapphire (BACARDI).
  • All submissions must be a minimum length of 6 seconds and a maximum length of 10 seconds.
  • How to submit: Click on the ‘Participate’ tab and follow the instructions. Your work must be submitted as an MP4, 4:5 format (portrait), RGB colours, minimum 72dpi (or 150dpi). Please retain your original video files in the highest quality possible. Only digital animations. Please, no photography.
  • If you are selected you will have to supply your artwork as the original video files (MP4). Videos do not need to include music.
  • Please add a short description in English explaining the inspiration behind your work. Please use the 'Say something about your submission' section within your submission.
  • We advise you to carefully read the "Submission Guidelines" section above.
  • If you are not selected, you will retain ownership in the original portions of your work. However, by submitting you hereby grant Bombay Sapphire (BACARDI) a worldwide, non-exclusive, limited, royalty-free license for up to 3 months from April 1, 2020, to use your submitted work across their various online and social media platforms. If your work is used, you will be credited accordingly.
  • If you are a ‘Selected Creator’, you will be required to assign all rights, title and interest in and to the selected work to Bombay (BACARDI) for the specified incentives. Upon selection, you will be required to sign a Rights Release and the Awardee Agreement. Please note that submissions can be used by you for personal, non-commercial and portfolio (including owned social channels) use only.
  • If selected, you may be asked to modify your work to fit production requirements. This may be up to 1 round of minor edits.
  • Please provide an active email address when registering with Talenthouse to ensure you can be contacted should you be selected.
  • During the selection period, Talenthouse will reach out to those being shortlisted. You must respond to Talenthouse within forty-eight (48) hours or else you will forfeit all incentives. For the verification, you will be asked to provide the original files of your work and a scan of your ID.
  • Talenthouse reserves the right to remove inappropriate, offensive and harmful submissions as well as submissions that do not fit the brief, these guidelines or Official Rules (see below).
  • No purchase necessary to enter or be selected.
HOW BOMBAY SAPPHIRE WILL CHOOSE
Bombay Sapphire will select from all qualified submissions. A qualified submission is one which meets all the Terms & Conditions, Guidelines and Official Rules.

The judging criteria is based on Creativity (40%), Originality (30%) and Overall Understanding of the theme (30%).
