Film for Gabrielle Aplin on tour
THE BRIEF
Gabrielle Aplin, VEVO and Talenthouse are inviting a global videographer, film producer or video director to join Gabrielle's UK Tour team on the road as the official videographer for her Autumn 2013 Tour. To be in with a chance, submit a short film which can take the form of a short reportage or a taste of your film documentary skills.
Rising star Gabrielle will embark on her 8th sold out UK tour this Autumn playing venues including Shepherd's Bush Empire and O2 Academies across the country. The winner will go on the road with Gabrielle as part of her Autumn tour and film behind the scenes. This footage will then go live on VEVO with an additional exposure and home page coverage.

Helping Gabrielle pick the winner will be Will Nichols (AudioVisual, Parlophone) and Claudia De Wolff (Content producer for VEVO).
ABOUT GABRIELLE APLIN
Gabrielle Aplin is an English singer-songwriter who gained a following online after publishing acoustic covers of songs by bands such as Paramore and You Me At Six on YouTube and now has over 38million views. At 19, Aplin announced she had signed to Parlophone Records and was recording her debut album. She gained mainstream attention when she featured on a Christmas advert with a cover of Frankie Goes To Hollywood's 'The Power Of Love' smashing in to the charts at #1. Her debut album English Rain entered the charts at #2. Gabrielle has already sold out 7 UK tours and the 8th is selling out fast.

William Nichols is Visual Content Manager at Parlophone Records. Commissioning shortform, live and longform video content for Gabrielle Aplin and other Parlophone artists such as Tinie Tempah, Blur, Eliza Doolittle and Conor Maynard.
THE CAREER OPPORTUNITY
One winner, as chosen by the judging panel, will be Gabrielle's official videographer for selected dates during her Autumn 2013 Tour*.
In addition, the winner will also receive:
- $1,000
- Their official tour video premiered on Gabrielle Aplin's VEVO and YouTube channels
- Exposure across Gabrielle's official online channels
*Travel and accommodation for selected dates provided
THE COMMUNITY CHOICE
We respect the opinion of the public and the highest voted will certainly catch our eye. The highest voted artist will receive:
- $500
- A signed Gabrielle Aplin album
HOW GABRIELLE APLIN WILL CHOOSE
Gabrielle Aplin will select from all qualified submissions with special consideration for the top voted entries. A qualified submission is one which meets all the Terms & Conditions, Guidelines and Official Rules.
CREATIVE INVITE GUIDELINES
- Participants must submit their video to YouTube or Vimeo then paste the video URL and click 'Get Video' using the upload tool below
- Entries can be pre-existing material created by the participant
- We recommend entries are to be 2 minutes long max
- Participants must include a 150 word max description about their submission
- No purchase necessary
- The chosen winner must be available to travel for a few days with Gabrielle Aplin from October 29, 2013 - November 16, 2013. Exact dates to be agreed with winning entrant
- All videos submitted must be original content and not include third-party copyright
- Talenthouse reserves the right to disqualify participants who we believe are cheating the voting system as this is against the spirit of the Creative Invite
- Harmful or offensive or submissions that are not in line with the brief will be removed and asked to resubmit
- We recommend participants are to complete their Talenthouse Portfolio when submitting their work
