Wimbledon invites visual artists from all over the world to design the official 2016 Wimbledon Poster inspired by the key theme for this year's tournament: 'In Pursuit of Greatness'.

Wimbledon is the world’s most prestigious and iconic tennis event, and this is your opportunity to get your artwork in front of the players and spectators who attend The Championships this year.

Things to consider:
  • The poster will be produced into these dimensions: 510mm x 710mm
  • Poster designs should capture the following theme of this year's tournament: In Pursuit of Greatness
  • Submissions must include the Wimbledon logo, the dates of the tournament (27 June - 10 July), the hashtag #Wimbledon and Wimbledon.com
  • The poster should celebrate the iconic elements and characteristics of Wimbledon, but should not include any recognisable tennis player.
The judging panel is looking for eye-catching and innovative visuals that are adaptable and can be brought to life across animated and digital formats. Artists are encouraged to check out this Pinterest board for additional inspiration.

One Selected Artist, as chosen by Wimbledon, will have their poster produced, distributed and showcased during Wimbledon 2016 and receive $2,000. Ten Highly Commended Artists will also receive $200 each.
