vivo entered the India market in 2014, with a clear strategy to keep the customer at the center of all it's operations and remain committed to India for the long term. In five years vivo has become amongst the top 3 smartphone brands in India.

In line with Prime Minister Modi’s ‘Make in India’ policy, the company had successfully commenced assembly of mobile phones and accessories at their unit in Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh).

As the company moves into the next growth phase in India, they have recently announced a new manufacturing facility at Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Establishing another manufacturing factory in India is a testament to vivo India’s commitment to the Indian market and another step towards company’s support for Government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative.

vivo will be celebrating their 5 years anniversary in India and the commencement of it’s second manufacturing facility. As part of this celebration, vivo is inviting consumers and fans to design a new logo that showcases its focus and commitment towards manufacturing its products in India and hence, it should be supported by element(s) which support the Indian context.

The Selected Artwork will get printed on future vivo product boxes. The Selected Artist will also receive INR 5,00,000.

Up to 10 additional pieces of artwork will be selected. They will get the chance to get their work promoted on vivo digital channels and receive vivo devices.

Remember though, keep it static, keep it attractive, keep it brave, and keep it about the joy of being a young Indian brand.

  • The final submission should be in AI or EPS format
  • Only create vector logo. Please do not use any picture
  • The final logo to be submitted in both formats – color as well as black & white
  • Maintain the spacing around the logo as given in the guidelines
  • For special cases like screen printing, we would need 4 colour version of the logo as well
  • Logo should be legible so even if we reduce the size or increase the size, it should be clear in quality

One Selected Artist, as chosen by vivo, will:

  • Have an opportunity to get his/her Artwork printed on select vivo devices
  • Receive INR 5,00,000 for the selected artwork & the rights of their logo

  • Receive vivo devices.

  • Who is eligible: This opportunity is open globally and you need to be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction of primary residence at the time of submission. Employees and their immediate family and household members of vivo and Talenthouse are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law.

  • Submissions must not be made public anywhere by the Selected Artists until after announcement of the Selected Artists. Artists are asked not to share their submissions on social media or upload their submissions to their Talenthouse profiles until after Artist Selection.

  • Limited to ten (10) submissions per artist or artist team.

  • All submissions must be original artwork, meaning not using third party pre-existing copyright materials or stock imagery (unless you should choose to buy the rights for them), except for the material provided by vivo but can be pre-existing or created especially for this opportunity. All rights in and to the material provided is reserved by vivo.

  • vivo fonts, if required, can be downloaded here.

  • Please read the "THINGS TO CONSIDER" section above carefully.

  • Artists should retain their original files in the highest quality possible. Images must be submitted via email on "submissions@talenthouse.co.in" in JPEG or PNG, max size 10MB.

  • If any persons appear or are referred to in the submissions, the artist is solely responsible for obtaining, prior to submitting, all necessary usage rights and permissions for the contents of their submissions. Proof will be required if selected, failing to provide proof may lead to disqualification of the submitted art.

  • Artists that are not selected, will retain ownership of their work, however vivo has global marketing rights to promote the work on their online channels with reference to this Creative Invite for up to twelve months after announcement of the Selected Artists. All artists will be credited accordingly.
  • The Selected Artist and the Finalists will have to sign a Copyright Assignment Form which assigns ownership of their work to vivo for global usage. Selected designs can still be used for artist's own portfolio purposes.
  • The Selected Artist and Finalists may be asked to modify their work to fit production requirements.
  • Artists must join Talenthouse using an active email address in order to ensure they can be contacted, should they be selected.
  • The Selected Artist and Finalists must respond to Talenthouse within two (2) days of receiving the notification email or else will forfeit all incentives.
  • Talenthouse reserves the right to remove inappropriate, offensive and harmful submissions as well as submissions that do not fit the brief, guidelines or Official Rules
  • No purchase necessary to enter.
vivo will select from all qualified submissions. A qualified submission is one which meets all the Terms & Conditions, Creative Invite Guidelines and Official Rules.
