Create an iconic design for ABSOLUT's new event series
THE BRIEF
From Andy Warhol and Keith Haring to Jay-Z and Swedish House Mafia, ABSOLUT VODKA has a long history of collaborations with cultural provocateurs. With the launch of ABSOLUT X, a masquerade event series,the brand is exploring new territory by bringing together artists from three different disciplines – music, art and mixology - to create exceptional live experiences
In celebration of this unique collaboration, ABSOLUT X is inviting creatives to submit their iconic design for the chance to be produced as one of the five official ABSOLUT X posters for one of the following U.S. cities: Miami, Austin, Las Vegas, New York and Philadelphia. Designers should take inspiration from art, music OR cocktails and should illustrate what symbolizes and/or defines creativity in their selected city. Each of the five winners, as selected by ABSOLUT and Andras Szanto, the Principal Advisor to the ABSOLUT Art Bureau, will have their design produced as one of the official posters for the ABSOLUT X events.

ABSOLUT are delighted and thrilled with the quality of the submissions from their Design a Poster for the ABSOLUT X Series campaign. Due to circumstances beyond their control, ABSOLUT have changed one of the five cities that was hosting the ABSOLUT X event in 2013. The new cities in which the events will be held are now as follows: Austin, Miami, New York, Philadelphia and Seattle.
ABSOLUT would like to thank all those participants who submitted their Vegas themed designs and will be selecting one submission as 'Judges Choice' that will be featured on ABSOLUT's social media channels.
All other five winners as selected by ABSOLUT will receive the following:
- Have their poster produced and featured as the official posters for one of the five ABSOLUT X events held in the following cities: Miami, Austin, Seattle, New York and Philadelphia in 2013
- $1,000
- Two VIP passes (for winner plus guest) to the city of their choice - Exposure and recognition for their submission which will be produced as part of each event's marketing materials and further promoted across ABSOLUT's social media channels
THE CAREER OPPORTUNITY
Five winning designs will be produced and featured as the official posters for one of the five ABSOLUT X events held in the following cities: Miami, Austin, Las Vegas, New York and Philadelphia in 2013.
In addition, each winner will receive:
- $1,000
- Two VIP passes (for winner plus guest) to the city of their choice
- Exposure and recognition for their submission which will be produced as part of each event's marketing materials and further promoted across ABSOLUT's social media channels
THE COMMUNITY CHOICE
The highest voted designer will receive exposure and recognition for their submission which will be promoted on ABSOLUT's social media channels.
CREATIVE INVITE GUIDELINES
- Submissions must be original and submitted in JPEG or PNG format and must not have been commercially used either before or during this Creative Invite
- Participants must retain their original artwork should they be chosen as the winner
- Designs may be modified to suit production requirements
- Submissions must be no larger than 5MB
- Submissions must include ONE ABSOLUT X logo as provided in the .ZIP file below
- The five winners may select a different ABSOLUT X city event to attend than from the city selected from their design
- Travel and accommodation not provided
- Enjoy with ABSOLUT Responsibility
- Artwork must be in good taste and reflect positive values of the brand. Valid entries cannot contain explicit or antisocial content, religious themes, or messages which are derogatory to any group or which appeal to children. See Official Rules
- Entrants must be 21 years old or older
- All winning submissions will be property of ABSOLUT
- No Purchase required
- All entries must be original works of art by the individual making the submission
- No third party trademarks, brand names, logos or copyrights
- Artists must have permission from everyone appearing in their submission

HOW ABSOLUT X WILL CHOOSE
ABSOLUT X will select from all qualified submissions with special consideration for the top voted entries. A qualified submission is one which meets all the Terms & Conditions, Guidelines and Official Rules.
