Skating is hard work but that does not mean you cannot skate and stay hydrated in style!
American professional skateboarder Tony Hawk made history for completing the first documented 900 (900 degree aerial spin). He is widely considered to be one of the most successful and influential pioneers of modern vertical skateboarding. Throughout his career, he has made numerous appearances in films, other media and his own series of licensed video games. He has also been involved in various philanthropic activities, including his own Tony Hawk Foundation that helps to build skateparks in underprivileged areas. The Tony Hawk Foundation seeks to foster lasting improvements in society, with an emphasis on supporting and empowering youth. Since 2002, the Tony Hawk Foundation has awarded 512 grants worth over $4 million to help build free, public skateparks across the U.S.
A charitable, non-profit organization, the Tony Hawk Foundation was established in 2002 by its namesake, professional skateboarder Tony Hawk, to promote and provide funds for high-quality public skateparks in low-income areas throughout the United States—with an emphasis on the word “quality.” Since then, the Foundation has awarded over $4-million to 512 communities in all 50 states. The Foundation focuses on working with local officials and grassroots, community-based organizations that plan to hire designers and contractors with strong experience designing and building skateparks.
SIGG Switzerland AG, the Swiss company rich in tradition, represents a unique success story. Established in Switzerland over 100 years ago, SIGG today focuses on recyclable aluminum drinking bottles. All SIGG bottles are durable and 100% recyclable. Every year SIGG launches a new Design Collection and for many years now has had samples exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. Mainly appreciated by hikers and mountaineers initially, the SIGG bottles satisfy today’s strong sustainability trend. They have also developed into a fashionable lifestyle accessory and are favorites of celebrities such as Gisele Bündchen, Cameron Diaz and Zac Efron.
