Design a tour poster for Jamie Cullum

THE BRIEF

Momentum is the new album from Jamie Cullum released on 20th May 2013.

To celebrate the launch, Jamie is inviting artists and creators to design the official Autumn European tour poster. The winner will see their work displayed across all official tour communications and receive $1,000.

Participants are to draw inspiration from the meaning of the word 'Momentum' in tandem with Jamies reputation as one of the UK's finest musicians.

Jamie and his marketing team at Island Records will select the overall winning entry, using the social votes as a guide.

ABOUT JAMIE CULLUM

Jamie Cullum is a British pop and jazz-pop singer-songwriter. Though he is primarily a vocalist/pianist he also accompanies himself on other instruments including guitar and drums.

THE CAREER OPPORTUNITY

One winner as chosen by Jamie will see their design used as Jamie's official Autumn Tour poster. In addition, they will also receive:

  • $1,000
  • A Yamaha keyboard
  • A pair of VIP tickets to an upcoming Jamie Cullum gig of their choice (Travel and accommodation not included)


Two runners up will receive:

  • $150 each
  • A signed album

THE COMMUNITY CHOICE

One highest voted artist will receive:

  • $200
  • Yamaha keyboard
  • A pair of VIP tickets to an upcoming Jamie Cullum gig of their choice (Travel and accommodation not included)
HOW JAMIE CULLUM WILL CHOOSE

Jamie Cullum and his marketing team will select from all qualified submissions with special consideration for the top voted entries. A qualified submission is one which meets all the Terms & Conditions, Guidelines and Official Rules.

CREATIVE INVITE GUIDELINES
  • Participants must be over 18 years old
  • Inappropriate or harmful submissions will be removed
  • Participants may submit: Artwork in RGB colourscale (JPG or PNG 5MB Max) and must retain their original artwork should they be chosen as a winner
  • Participants should be aware that the following information, subject to change, will be added to the winning design: artist’s name, logo, tour dates, album title, website, ticket links
  • For the $1,000 cash prize, the winner automatically assigns the IP of their artwork to Universal Music (all remaining participants e.g. non winners, retain ownership of their IP)
  • Designs must be original (meaning not using third party pre-existing copyright materials) but can be pre-existing or created especially for this opportunity
  • If chosen, the winner must provide the host with their design in a high resolution format
  • Participants must join using an active email address so if chosen they can be contacted
  • No purchase necessary
  • All submissions will feature as part of a global gallery with public voting on Facebook and Twitter
  • Designs should draw inspiration from the album title ‘Momentum’
