THE BRIEF
Artists, designers and illustrators around the world are invited to create the cover art for the digital album release of Dracula Untold.

One selected artist will have their work featured across Dracula Untold's social channels as well as receive $1,500. Additionally, the selected artist may have their work included as the cover art for the digital album release on Back Lot Music.

Entrants should take inspiration from themes of the movie, the movie trailer, the cover art for the Official Soundtrack, and the original story of Dracula. Entrants can also check out Dracula Untold's Facebook page for more inspiration.

The dimension size for the design should be set at 1600 x 1600 pixels. If you wish to include the movie title in your artwork (not mandatory), the logo file can be found here.

Luke Evans (Fast & Furious 6, The Hobbit series) transforms from the cursed man history knows as Vlad the Impaler to an all-powerful creature of the night in Universal Pictures’ DRACULA UNTOLD, the origin story of the alluring immortal we have come to fear as the sun sets: Dracula. The DRACULA UNTOLD Soundtrack will feature 20 score cues from the film by Emmy and Grammy Award nominated composer Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Iron Man, Pacific Rim).

One artist as selected by the host, Universal Pictures, will receive:

  • Exposure across Dracula Untold's social media channels
  • Additionally, the selected artist may have their work included as the cover art for a digital release on Back Lot Music in connection with Dracula Untold

The artist with the largest amount of community support will receive:
  • $500
CREATIVE INVITE GUIDELINES
  • This opportunity is open to global residents.
  • All entries must be original artwork (meaning not using third party pre-existing copyright materials).
  • The dimensions of the album cover design should be set at 1600 x 1600 pixels.
  • Participants may include the provided logo but it is not required.
  • Participants must join Talenthouse using an active email address in order to ensure they can be contacted should they be selected.
  • The copyright in and to the winning submission shall be owned by Universal Pictures.
  • Artists should retain their original artwork files (in 300dpi) but designs must be submitted in JPEG or PNG, max size 5MB.
  • Participants must be age 18 or older to submit.
  • All submissions will feature as part of a global gallery with public voting on Facebook and Twitter.
  • Talenthouse reserves the right to disqualify artists who we believe are cheating the voting system as this is against the spirit of the Creative Invite.
  • Winners must respond to Talenthouse within 24 hours of receiving the notification email or else will forfeit all incentives.
  • Inappropriate, offensive, harmful or submissions that do not fit the brief will be removed.
  • The winning submission may be modified to accommodate production requirements.
  • No purchase necessary to enter.

how universal pictures will choose
Universal Pictures will select from all qualified submissions. A qualified submission is one which meets all the Terms & Conditions, Guidelines and Official Rules.

The community can support their favorite submissions through social voting via Facebook and Twitter. The artist with the largest public support will be chosen as the Community Choice.
