Design the official logo for racing driver Max Chilton

LMP1 Class, FIA World Endurance Racing Driver Max Chilton is inviting the global artistic community to design his new official logo that will be printed onto his racing helmet that he will debut at Le Mans 24 Hr endurance race on June 13 and 14, 2015.

Max is looking for you to get creative and have fun with it, however has provided a few guidelines that he would like people to consider such as:
  • Logo to be aligned with, but not restricted to racing
  • No use of numbers
  • Clean, smart, sophisticated, futureproof
  • Not messy or busy
Submitting artists may choose whether or not they would like to include Max's name in their designs.

about max chilton
Max Chilton is a British born racing star competing at the highest level of the sport. Following two years in Formula One, Max is now racing for the Nissan Nismo Team in the World Endurance Championship alongside a host of household names and globally recognised race teams and brands. He will take to the wheel of his stunning LMP1 GT-R LM Nismo for the first time under race conditions at the legendary Le Mans 24 Hr Race in June, a race that will be seen by millions of people worldwide as he starts his global campaign to become World Champion.

creative invite guidelines
  • This opportunity is open globally to those who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Void where prohibited.
  • All submissions must be original artwork (meaning not using third party pre-existing copyright materials).
  • Artists should retain their original artwork files (in 300dpi) but designs must be submitted in JPEG or PNG, max size 5MB.
  • Artists that are not selected will retain ownership of their work, however Max Chilton has marketing rights to promote their work on his channels in connection with this Creative Invite. All artists will be credited accordingly.
  • The copyright for the selected submission shall be owned by Max Chilton for global usage. The selected work will be used for the racing season and for foreseeable future until such time as a new logo is required.
  • Artists can choose whether or not to include text in their designs.
  • All submissions will feature as part of a global gallery with public sharing on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest during Open Review.
  • Talenthouse reserves the right to disqualify artists who we believe are cheating the sharing system as this is against the spirit of the Creative Invite.
  • Artists must join Talenthouse using an active email address in order to ensure they can be contacted should they be selected.
  • Inappropriate, offensive and harmful submissions, as well as submissions that do not fit the brief and follow the guidelines will be removed.
  • No purchase necessary to enter.
how max chilton will choose
Max Chilton and the guest judge will select from all qualified submissions. A qualified submission is one which meets all the Terms & Conditions, Guidelines and Official Rules.

As soon as you have submitted your work, feel free to start sharing your submission on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. These shares will count towards the Popular Choice award. Please note, it does not impact your chance of being chosen as the Selected Artist if you choose not to share.
