It’s been an amazing experience to review all of the creative submissions inspired by As We See It. Choosing finalists was a tough task, as every single one of the artists more than exceeded our expectations in creativity, thoughtfulness and compassion within and for the ASD Community. We are honored to have been a part of this project and truly thank each and every one of you for your contributions.

Celebrate the launch of the new series, As We See It!

Create static artwork inspired by the release of As We See It to help celebrate the Autistic community. The final artwork should lean into any of the following topics from the show such as Love and Dating As You See It, Friendship As You See It, Family As You See It, Adulting As You See It.

A total of five (5) works will be selected by Amazon Prime Video, Selected Creators will receive $2,000 in exchange for their works, which will potentially be featured across As We See It’s marketing campaign.

Please note, this Creative Brief is open only to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age and the age of majority in their jurisdiction of primary residence and who are legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia at the time of submission.


THINGS TO CONSIDER
  • As We See It, is an authentic and unfiltered humorous new series which aims to inform a wide-ranging audience about neurodiversity
  • Your final submission must be inspired by the key themes and main topics found in As We See It :
    • Adulting
      • Ex: Creating and sticking to a budget, OR establishing independence
    • Family
      • Ex: Conflict resolution OR managing familial relationships
    • Friendship
      • Ex: Showing support OR receiving support
    • Love and dating
      • Ex: Expressing interest OR Gauging the interest of others
    • Work
      • Ex: Work/life balance OR working with others
  • Feel free to utilize the official As We See It title treatment in your final submission.
  • For more inspiration check out As We See It’s trailer (linked below).
  • Your artwork should be 4x5 (up to the artist) for Instagram, Twitter, Facebook at 300dpi minimum, digitally created as layered AI or PSD files
    • Please submit artwork according to the following specifications Static, high res, PNG/JPEG files, maximum 10MB
  • Your work should feel inclusive of diverse audiences with a focus on the following groups:
    • Autistic Community
    • Adults 18-64, with a female 25-54 skew
    • Dramedy fans - Women 18-34
  • You should only submit work you have created yourself and must not include stock imagery
  • Amazon Prime Video would love to see you share your work on social media. If you do please use the hashtag #AsWeSeeIt and tag @asweseeitpv
  • Amazon Prime Video would love to see a time-lapse video of you creating your artwork! This video will not be judged or voted on but could be shared as additional social content if the artwork is selected as a winner.
  • Please do not include any music in your submission
  • You can submit up to 10 times (as long as each submission is distinct from your other submission), so feel free to show us a range of your artwork
  • Tell us about your own relationship to autistic community, your creative process and any inspirations via the 'Description' field in your submission

  • Please avoid using As We See It talent likeness
  • Include anything that could be interpreted as violent, sexually explicit, racist, pornographic, sexist, political, discriminating, religious, or offensive
  • Please avoid using trademarked logos and symbols

THE INCENTIVES

Five (5) artworks, as chosen by Amazon Prime Video, will be selected. The Selected Creators will

  • Potentially have their work featured in As We See It's marketing campaign during the release of the first season

  • Potentially receive exposure for their work across As We See It's digital and marketing channels

  • Receive $2,000 for each piece selected


CREATIVE BRIEF GUIDELINES
  • Who is eligible: This opportunity is open to residents of the United States who are at least 18 years of age and the age of majority at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Employees and their immediate family and household members of Amazon Prime Video and Talenthouse (Talenthouse, Ello, and Zooppa) are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law.

  • Each creator may submit up to 10 submissions. Creator teams allowed.

  • Please note, that during the Submission Period, your submission may be featured on As We See It's social media channels with credit given to the Creator.

  • All submissions must be original artwork which is not inspired by or based on third-party artwork (and may not contain third-party materials or intellectual property and/or stock materials, and must be free-and-clear of any and all third-party rights). Please, no photography or video.

  • How to submit: Click on the ‘Participate’ tab and follow the instructions. Your work must be submitted in JPEG or PNG, max. size 10 MB. Please retain your original layered AI or PSD files in the highest quality possible. Only static digital work. Please, no photography or video.

  • Creators should retain their original artwork files in the highest quality possible but designs must be submitted in JPEG or PNG, max. size 10MB.

  • Please add a short description in English explaining the inspiration behind your work. Please use the 'Say something about your submission' section within your submission.

  • We advise you to carefully read the 'Things to Consider' section above.

  • If you are selected, you will have to supply your artwork as a layered artwork file in AI or PSD (high-res, CMYK, and 300dpi minimum).


  • Creators may not depict the likenesses of the characters in As We See It.

  • If you are not selected, you will retain ownership of the original portions of your work. However, by submitting you hereby grant Amazon Prime Video a worldwide, non-exclusive, digital license from Creative Brief launch, for up to 3 months after the Selected Creator Announcement, to use your submitted work across their various online and social media platforms. If your work is used, you will be credited accordingly.

  • If you are a ‘Selected Creator’, you will be required to assign all rights, title, and interest in and to the selected work to Amazon Prime Video for the specified incentives. Upon selection, you will be required to sign a License Agreement and the Awardee Agreement. Please note that submissions can be used by you for personal, non-commercial, and portfolio use only.

  • If selected, you may be asked to modify your work to fit production requirements.

  • Please provide an active email address when registering with Talenthouse to ensure you can be contacted should you be selected.

  • During the selection period, Talenthouse will reach out to those being shortlisted. You must respond to Talenthouse within forty-eight (48) hours or else you will forfeit all incentives. For the verification, you will be asked to provide the original files of your work and a scan of your ID.

  • Talenthouse reserves the right to remove inappropriate, offensive, and harmful submissions as well as submissions that do not fit the brief, these guidelines, or Official Rules (see below).

  • No purchase necessary to enter or be selected.

HOW AMAZON PRIME VIDEO WILL CHOOSE

Amazon Prime Video will select from all qualified submissions. A qualified submission is one that meets all the Terms & Conditions, Guidelines, and Official Rules.


The judging criteria are based on Creativity (25%), Originality (25%), and Overall Understanding of the theme (50%).
