Create poster artwork for the upcoming film, Venom: Let There Be Carnage
Venom is back in action! This time, he’s up against the ultimate villain, Carnage! Releasing globally in September 2021, Venom: Let There Be Carnage stars Academy Award® nominated actor Tom Hardy.
To amplify the launch of the film, Columbia Tristar Marketing Group, Inc. (CTMG) is creating an art activation leading up to the film’s release and they want to collaborate with YOU!
Artists, graphic designers and illustrators from around the world are invited to create one-of-a-kind digitally illustrated static artwork inspired by the latest trailer artwork for Venom: Let There Be Carnage. We’d like you to bond with your inner symbiote and create legendary poster artworks which showcase the most epic symbiote battle ever created!The judges at CTMG are looking for captivating poster and billboard artwork that will appeal to all global audiences. A total of 5 pieces of artwork will be chosen as Selected Creators - including 2 x Early Entry Awards (Submissions by 6/21) and 3 x Finalists (Submissions by 7/2). Each Creator will receive $2000 and potentially have their work featured across the film’s marketing campaign, including social accounts, print materials and merchandise.
Please showcase this epic symbiote battle between Venom and Carnage in your poster design.
The tone of the artwork must reflect the film - dark, visceral and intense.

Please submit your artworks as high res, PNG/JPEG files, maximum 10MB, in one of the following orientation formats:
Portrait: 27 inches x 40 inches at 300dpi
Landscape: 40 inches x 27 inches at 300dpi
Things we don't want to see:
Your design must be original artwork. It should not include any reference to religious symbols, political symbols or monuments. There must be no nudity or pornography, curse words or vulgarities.
No humans, only non-human characters.
Who is eligible: This opportunity is open to global creators. Creators must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction of primary residence at the time of submission. Employees and their immediate family and household members of CTMG and TLNT (Talenthouse, Ello and Zoopps) are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law.
All submissions must be your own original work (meaning you are not allowed to use third party pre-existing copyright materials and/or stock imagery in your submission) except for the material provided by CTMG.
How to submit: Click on the ‘Participate’ tab and follow the instructions. Please retain your original layered artwork files in the highest quality possible.
Please add a short description in English explaining the inspiration behind your work.
2 x Selected Creator and 3 x Finalists will receive $2000 for their final artwork, assigning full usage rights to CTMG.
Upon selection, you will be required to sign a License Agreement and the Awardee Agreement.
CTMG has the right to use all submissions across their social media channels and online platforms (non-exclusive, global, limited, royalty-free license). Creators will be fully credited when their work is used.
Selected Creators must respond to TLNT within 2 days of receiving the notification email or else forfeit all incentives.
Please provide an active email address when registering with Talenthouse to ensure you can be contacted should you be selected.
During the Selection Period, Talenthouse will reach out to those being shortlisted. You must respond to Talenthouse within 48 hours or else you will forfeit all incentives. For the verification, you will be asked to provide the original files of your work and a scan of your ID.
Talenthouse reserves the right to remove inappropriate, offensive and harmful submissions as well as submissions that do not fit the brief, these guidelines or the Official Rules.

Sony Pictures will choose the artworks which best highlight the film and the epic battle between Venom & Carnage. A qualified submission is one which meets all the Terms & Conditions and Official Rules.
