A NOTE FROM TALENTHOUSE

Early selections have now been chosen, and the Selected Creators have been notified. If your submission was not chosen at this early selection stage, it will be considered again during the regular selection once the Creative Brief has closed on June 3, 12pm PST.

Here's some feedback method want to share with everyone:
  • method is looking to see diverse artforms and creative types
  • Capture the one creative activity that is inspiring you at the moment
  • There is no need to include any method products or method logos in your submissions. If branding is included, it should always be subtle
  • Your artwork should be able to stand alone without any additional copy to understand what makes you feel creative or inspired while inside. We should be able to view the artwork and know what activity is making you feel inspired at the moment
method has always done things differently. Their daring designers, fearless thinkers and mad scientists believe that making soap leads to brave ideas, bold inventions and beautiful bubbles.

Founded in 2001 and headquartered in San Francisco, method’s premium, design-driven home and personal care products are made with people + planet in mind. method has big plans to make the world a brighter, more colorful place.

method has always been about bringing inspiration to people’s homes through bold design, bright color + fabulous fragrance. Now that we’re all at home…all the time…method wants to share what’s “good inside” by sharing uplifting visual inspiration that brings creativity, joy + optimism. method believes we can all stay inspired, even while we’re all staying inside.

Create original illustrations, GIFs, typography, animations, posters, or other visual artwork that inspires people to find sources of inspiration and creativity in their own lives despite these challenging times.

method is looking to showcase selected work soon and will be reviewing submissions on May 20, 2020, choosing up to 2 Selected Creators at this time
. method will then review all submissions on June 3, 2020 once the Submission Period has closed, and choose an additional 8 Selected Creators.

  • We don’t expect you to adhere to our color palette, but you can use it to get to know us.
