Your creativity inspires us and we love all of the incredible fan art submissions for SCOOB! Impeccable art takes time and with recent current events, we want to ensure every artist who wants to participate has the opportunity to do so. With this in mind, we are excited to announce that we will extend the submission deadline until April 16, 2020! We hope this gives everyone enough time to create and we’re excited to see your Scooby Doo-inspired art!

Create artwork inspired by the latest Scoob! imagery and trailer. Celebrate Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. gang coming together, and showcase all of the thrilling, mysterious, and crime-fighting tales they have solved!

Whether it's an illustration, digital painting, or an alternative poster design, the judges are looking for art that embraces the teamwork, infectiously fun, and exciting tone of the film.

5 pieces of art will be selected and the Selected Creators will receive $2,000 for each piece selected. 1 time-lapse video will be selected and will receive $1,000.

Things to Consider
  • Create work that embraces the teamwork, infectiously fun, and exciting tone of the film
  • A Creator can be selected for both the static incentive and the incentive for a time-lapse showcasing the creation process of their static submission.
  • Creators may depict the likenesses of the characters in Scoob!
  • The film’s trailers and social accounts should be used as inspiration


  • Creators may include the Scoob! title treatment logo in their artwork
  • Any reference imagery should only be used for inspiration and not used directly in the pieces
  • The same piece can be selected for both the static and time-lapse incentives
About Scoob!

The first full-length animated Scooby-Doo adventure for the big screen is the never-before told stories of Scooby-Doo’s origins and the greatest mystery in the career of Mystery Inc.

“SCOOB!” reveals how lifelong friends Scooby and Shaggy first met and how they joined with young detectives Fred, Velma and Daphne to form the famous Mystery Inc. Now, with hundreds of cases solved and adventures shared, Scooby and the gang face their biggest, most challenging mystery ever: a plot to unleash the ghost dog Cerberus upon the world. As they race to stop this global “dogpocalypse,” the gang discovers that Scooby has a secret legacy and an epic destiny greater than anyone imagined.

The Incentives
5 pieces of static artwork, as chosen by Warner Bros. Pictures, will be selected. The Selected Creators will:
  • Potentially receive exposure for their work across the Scoob! digital and marketing channels, including without limitation, social media, printed materials, outdoor (e.g. billboards, murals) and merchandise, such as t-shirts
  • Receive $2,000 for each piece selected
1 time-lapse video will be selected by Warner Bros. Pictures. The Selected Creator will:
  • Potentially receive exposure for their work across Scoob!'s digital and marketing channels
  • Receive $1,000


Creative Brief Guidelines
  • Update (March 18, 2020): The submission deadline has been extended to April 16, 2020. And the Selected Creator Announcement has been moved to May 8, 2020.
  • NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
  • Who is eligible: This opportunity is open globally (except for citizens, nationals, or legal residents of Brazil, Crimea, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria) to those who are at least 18 years of age and the age of majority at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law.
  • Multiple submissions (up to 10) and creator teams are allowed.
  • Submissions will not be visible to the public until after the announcement.
  • Please note, that during the Submission Period, submissions may be featured on Scoob! social media channels with credit given to the creator.
  • All submissions must be original artwork (meaning not using third party pre-existing copyright and/or stock materials). Please no photography.
  • All creators, whether Selected Creators or not, hereby acknowledge and agree that Scoob! intellectual property, and all intellectual property rights embodied therein, and all derivative rights thereof including the embodiment of Scoob! (collectively, “Scoob! IP”) is the sole and exclusive property of Warner Bros. Pictures, and all creators, whether Selected Creators.
  • How to submit: Creators should retain their original files but static artwork must be submitted in JPEG, PNG, GIF, MP4 max size 10MB.
  • Selected Creators (defined in Official Rules) are to assign Warner Bros. Pictures and their licensees and assigns, a worldwide, exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use their submitted work in connection with the promotion and distribution of Scoob! in all media, now known or hereafter devised. Selected Creators will be required to sign a license agreement and an awardee agreement.
  • The Selected Creators may be asked to modify their design up to 2 rounds of minor edits so their work fits production requirements.
  • All creators, whether Selected Creators or not, retain ownership only in the original portions of in their work that do not contain or are not derivative of Scoob! IP excluding creators who have signed a license agreement. However, by submitting you hereby grant to Warner Bros. Pictures, its licensees and assigns, a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license for three years to use your submitted work across their various online and social marketing platforms in association with the film Scoob!. All creators will be credited accordingly.
  • Any ownership in the work is subject to and restricted by Warner Bros. Pictures’ underlying rights in the Scoob! IP and creators may make only personal use (e.g. portfolio purposes) of the submissions without express written consent from Warner Bros. Pictures; in no event, may a creator obtain a fee, royalty, advertising revenue, or any other payment in exchange for the submission, other than those Selected Creators who receive an incentive from Sponsor.
  • Selected Creators must sign a Warner Bros. Contributor’s Agreement and submit a completed Warner Bros. Creative Asset Data Sheet (“CAD”) that is approved by Warner Bros. in order to have a chance for selection.
  • Creators must join Talenthouse using an active email address in order to ensure they can be contacted should they be selected.
  • During the selection period, Talenthouse will reach out to those being shortlisted. Creators must respond to Talenthouse within forty-eight (48) hours or else the creator will forfeit all incentives. For the verification, the creator will be asked to provide the original files of your work and a scan of your ID.
  • Talenthouse reserves the right to remove inappropriate, offensive and harmful submissions as well as submissions that do not fit the brief and follow the guidelines or Official Rules (see below).
  • Sponsor: Talenthouse, Inc.
  • Please note: In case of any inconsistencies between the English and translated versions of the Creative Brief and Official Rules, the English version will take priority.
how warner bros. pictures will choose
Warner Bros. Pictures will select from all qualified submissions. A qualified submission is one which meets all the Terms & Conditions, Guidelines, and Official Rules.
