Create captivating digital artwork for the upcoming series, Raised By Wolves

To amplify the launch of the new science-fiction drama on September 3, 2020, Warner Media Direct LLC wants to collaborate with you for an exciting art activation!

Create one-of-a-kind artwork for Raised by Wolves inspired by the latest imagery and trailer from the upcoming series.

Whether it's an illustration, a digital painting, or even alternative show poster designs, the judges are looking for captivating, original, and imaginative artwork. Artwork will potentially be featured in the series' upcoming marketing campaign, including social accounts, print materials, murals, and merchandise.

5 Selected pieces of artwork will be chosen and receive $2,000 each.
Things to Consider
  • Create unique art that ties directly to Raised By Wolves' 3 pillars/hooks listed below:
    • Travis Fimmel: "A Big Bad Wolf"
      • A friend of foe?
      • Known for his role as Ragnar Lothbrok in the television series Vikings
    • Mother and the Protector Archetype
      • Mother, an Android, is singularly focused on ensuring her human children’s safety by any means necessary
      • Never underestimate the strength of a mother
    • Sci-Fi Setting
      • Be inspired by the show's sleek-yet-gritty hostile & uninhabited planet landscape
      • Make your artwork, futuristic, dystopian, dark. Just be sure to accurately capture the Raised By Wolves' attitude
    • You can reference Ridley Scott's past film styles for inspiration, but please ensure the final art ties directly back to Raised By Wolves' visual anchor points such as the planet's environment, character outfits, and other key visual references shown in the trailer

  • You can reference the asset pack for inspiration, but please do not augment these images directly
  • Watch the series trailer and social channels linked below for inspiration in your artwork
  • If you include text in your artwork, please use the monotype font
  • All artwork you submit must be fully original and created by you. Your submission must not infringe on any third party rights and must not have been published, licensed or distributed in the past
  • Your artwork should not include and reference any names, products or services of any business, company or entity or any third-party trademarks, logos, trade dress or promotion of any brand, product or service
  • The artwork should not be lewd, obscene, sexually explicit, pornographic, disparaging, defamatory, libelous, obscene, or any work that is otherwise inappropriate or objectionable
  • Any reference imagery should only be used for inspiration and not used directly in the pieces
About Raised by Wolves
After earth has been virtually destroyed, two androids are tasked with raising children on a mysterious uninhabited planet. As the burgeoning colony of humans threatens to be torn apart by religious differences, the androids learn that trying to control the beliefs of humans is a treacherous and difficult task.

From visionary Ridley Scott in his television directorial debut, Raised by Wolves explores questions of humanity, family, and ideology against the backdrop of a strange and perilous new world.

The Incentives
5 pieces of artwork, as chosen by Warner Media Direct LLC, will be selected. The Selected Creators will:
  • Receive $2,000 for each piece of artwork selected
  • Potentially have their artwork featured in Raised By Wolves marketing campaign
  • Potentially receive exposure for their artwork across Raised By Wolves digital and marketing channels including print materials and merchandise
Creative Brief Guidelines
  • Who is eligible: This opportunity is open globally to those who are at least 18 years of age and the age of majority in your jurisdiction of primary residence at the time of submission. Employees and their immediate family and household members of Warner Media Direct LLC and TLNT (Talenthouse, Ello, and Zooppa) are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law.
  • Limit ten (10) submissions per creator or team. Creator teams allowed.
  • All submissions must be original artwork which is not inspired by or based on third-party artwork (and may not contain third party materials or intellectual property and/or stock materials, and must be free-and-clear of any and all third-party rights). Please, no photography or video.
  • All submissions must be your own original work (meaning you are not allowed to use third-party pre-existing copyright materials and/or stock imagery in your submission) except for the material provided by Warner Media Direct LLC. All rights in and to the material provided are reserved by Warner Media Direct LLC.
  • How to submit: Click on the ‘Participate’ tab and follow the instructions. Your work must be submitted in JPEG or PNG format, max. size 10 MB. Please retain your original layered artwork files in the highest quality possible. Please no photography or video.
  • Please add a short description in English explaining the inspiration behind your work. Please use the 'Say something about your submission' section within your submission.
  • We advise you to carefully read the 'Things to Consider' section above.
  • If you are not selected, you will retain ownership in the original portions of your work. However, by submitting you hereby grant Warner Media LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, digital license from Creative Brief launch, for up to 3 months after the Selected Creator Announcement, to use your submitted work across their various online and social media platforms. If your work is used, you will be credited accordingly.
  • If you are a ‘Selected Creator’, you will be required to assign a worldwide, exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to the selected work to Warner Media Direct LLC for the specified incentives. Upon selection, you will be required to sign a License Agreement and the Awardee Agreement. Please note that submissions can be used by you for personal, non-commercial, and portfolio use only.
  • If selected, you may be asked to modify your work to fit production requirements.
  • Please provide an active email address when registering with Talenthouse to ensure you can be contacted should you be selected.
  • During the Selection Period, Talenthouse will reach out to those being shortlisted. You must respond to Talenthouse within forty-eight (48) hours or else you will forfeit all incentives. For the verification, you will be asked to provide the original files of your work and a scan of your ID.
  • Talenthouse reserves the right to remove inappropriate, offensive, and harmful submissions as well as submissions that do not fit the brief, these guidelines or Official Rules (see below).
  • No purchase necessary to enter or be selected.
WARNER MEDIA DIRECT WILL CHOOSE
Warner Media Direct LLC will select from all qualified submissions. A qualified submission is one which meets all the Terms & Conditions, Guidelines and Official Rules.
