Emma is a new film adaptation of Jane Austen’s beloved comedy of the same name. Directed by Autumn de Wilde and written by Eleanor Catton, the film stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Johnny Flynn and Bill Nighy. Following the comedic themes of Emma, Focus Features is creating an art activation campaign for the film’s release, and they want to collaborate with you!

Create illustrations that highlight the characters of Highbury or express the charming comedic aspect of the film, bringing a modern twist.

Whether it’s an illustration, digital painting, or an alternative poster design, the judges are looking for art that embraces the fresh take on the story of Emma. Check out the film’s trailer, social handles (links below), and asset pack for more visual inspiration. Creators may depict the likenesses of the characters in Emma and may include Emma's title treatment logo in their artwork.

4 pieces of work will be chosen as Selected Creators, and each will receive $1,500.
