Create captivating artwork for the upcoming film, Bloodshot

Selection Period

To amplify the launch of the new superhero film Bloodshot, Columbia TriStar Marketing Group (CTMG) wants to collaborate with you for an exciting art activation!

Create one-of-a-kind artwork for Bloodshot inspired by the latest imagery and trailer from the upcoming film.

Whether it's an illustration, a digital painting, or even an alternative poster design, the judges are looking for captivating, original, and imaginative artwork. Artwork will potentially be featured in the film's marketing campaign, including social accounts, print materials, murals, and merchandise.

5 Selected Pieces of artwork will be chosen and receive $2,000 each.
things to consider
  • Lean into the tagline, “superheroes just got an upgrade.”
  • Highlight the cast and talent.
  • Feel free to include any imagery of the modified soldiers and the technology they are outfitted with.
  • Consider using imagery of Bloodshot's unique ability to regenerate as shown in the trailer.
  • Avoid any imagery with guns pointing directly at the viewer.
  • You can reference the asset pack for inspiration, but please do not augment these images directly.
  • Please do not include any other Valiant universe items – Bloodshot ONLY.

5 pieces of artwork, as chosen by Columbia TriStar Marketing Group (CTMG), will be selected. The Selected Creators will:
  • Potentially have their artwork featured in Bloodshot's marketing campaign
  • Potentially receive exposure for their artwork across Bloodshot's digital and marketing channels including print materials and merchandise
  • Receive $2,000 for each piece of artwork selected

creative brief guidelines
  • NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. AN INTERNET CONNECTION IS REQUIRED.
  • Who is eligible: This opportunity is open globally to those who are at least 18 years of age and the age of majority at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law.
  • Limit ten (10) submissions per creator or team. Creator teams allowed.
  • Creators should retain their original artwork files in the highest quality possible but designs must be submitted in JPEG or PNG, max. size 10MB.
  • All submissions must be original artwork which is not inspired by or based on third-party artwork (and may not contain third party materials or intellectual property and/or stock materials, and must be free-and-clear of any and all third-party rights). Please, no photography or video.
  • Creators may depict the likenesses of the characters in Bloodshot and may include the Bloodshot title treatment logo in their artwork. All rights in and to the characters, title treatment logo and material provided are reserved by Columbia TriStar Marketing Group (CTMG).
  • The Non-Selected Creators retain the copyright as to the original elements only in their artwork, subject to Columbia’s intellectual property rights to the motion picture elements. By entering the Creative Brief, each creator grants to Columbia a worldwide, unrestricted, non-exclusive, royalty-free license for one (1) year to use the submitted artwork across Columbia’s various marketing platforms in association with the advertising, marketing and promotion of Bloodshot including without limitation digital and marketing channels. Columbia will use its best efforts to provide all creators with credit for their artwork.
  • Selected Creators may be asked to modify their artwork to fit production requirements.
  • Selected Creators (defined in Official Rules found below) shall assign to Columbia and their licensees and assigns all rights, title, and interest in and to the Selected Creators’ submitted artwork. Selected Creators will be required to sign an Assignment and Release Form and an Awardee Agreement.
  • Creator's copyright in the artwork is subject to and restricted by Columbia's underlying rights in the Bloodshot IP defined in the Official Rules, and entrants may make only personal non-commercial use (e.g. portfolio purposes, social channels) of the submissions without express written consent from Columbia. In no event, may an entrant obtain a fee, royalty, advertising revenue, or any other payment for the art created pursuant to this Creative Brief.
  • Please provide an active email address when registering with Talenthouse to ensure you can be contacted should you be selected.
  • During the selection period, Talenthouse will reach out to those being shortlisted. You must respond to Talenthouse within forty-eight (48) hours or else you will forfeit all incentives. For the verification, you will be asked to provide the original files of your artwork and a scan of your ID.
  • Talenthouse reserves the right to remove inappropriate, offensive and harmful submissions as well as submissions that do not fit the brief, these guidelines or Official Rules (see below).

how Columbia TriStar Marketing Group (CTMG) will choose
Columbia TriStar Marketing Group (CTMG) will select from all qualified submissions. A qualified submission is one that meets all the Terms & Conditions, Guidelines, and Official Rules.

All eligible submissions received will be judged according to the following equally weighted judging criteria: substance; creativity; originality, and adherence to the Bloodshot theme.
