Create artwork for Primesight, Campaign and Future Dreams' Ultimate Canvas

Creators Selected On
July 15, 2016

How would it feel if your artwork made an entire city stop in their tracks?

Primesight, Future Dreams and Campaign are inviting artists, designers, illustrators, photographers and innovators from around the world to create artwork that will be displayed on 'The Ultimate Canvas’ and have their work become part of a city's visual landscape.

Primesight have partnered with Future Dreams, one of the UK's leading breast cancer charities, to give creators an opportunity to create artwork that celebrates the work Future Dreams are doing in relation to breast cancer. Primesight are offering to display the selected design on a minimum of ten billboard sites across key cities in the UK for two weeks.

One Selected Artist will have the opportunity to put their artwork on 'The Ultimate Canvas'. The Selected Artist will receive $1,000 and the artwork from this campaign may also be showcased at a charity event at the Roundhouse in London, together with Future Dreams.

things to consider
When creating your submission, please consider the following:
  • Please keep in mind the brand ethos of Future Dreams, which is all about survivorship, positivity, support and focusing on life after cancer.
  • When creating their work, artists must use one of the provided templates (48 sheet and/or 96 sheet)
  • Artists may choose any style they like, as long as it incorporates the Future Dreams logo and brand ethos (see above).
  • The main requirement is that you think about the arresting visual impact of this huge canvas and how it will inspire the thousands of people who will see it.
  • Please provide final artwork, rather than concepts.
  • Artists are encouraged to check out this Pinterest board and the Future Dreams Instagram page for inspiration.
about the 48 and 96 sheet
Your design can either be in a 2:1 landscape ratio or 4:1 landscape ratio, to fit either the ’48 sheet’ billboard size or the ‘96 sheet’ billboard size. You can even do a design for both if you wish.

Their unique size offers creatives freedom and space to create something that will make a big impact on a passing audience. It doesn’t matter which size you choose, just select the one which best suits your idea.

about future dreams
After suffering the effects of breast cancer, mother and daughter Sylvie Henry and Danielle Leslie founded Future Dreams in 2008 to raise essential funds for further research and new treatments into breast cancer.

Following a diagnosis of incurable lung cancer, Sylvie lost her brave battle in July 2009. Tragically, her daughter Danielle was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in her lungs shortly before her mother's death and sadly passed away on September 2010. Future Drams lives on to realise Sylvie and Danielle's dream of a future free of breast cancer.
