Daniel Day-Lewis returns to the big screen in Paul Thomas Anderson's Phantom Thread
, an illuminating portrait both of an artist on a creative journey, and the women who keep his world running.
The film explores the world of London fashion in the 1950s, following renowned dressmaker Reynolds Woodcock. Along with his sister, they dress the rich, royal, and famous throughout high society. His creative life alone is disrupted by a strong-willed young woman who soon becomes a fixture in his life. Once controlled and planned, he finds his carefully tailored life disrupted by love.To celebrate the release of the film, artists, designers and illustrators from around the world are invited to create one-of-a-kind artwork for Phantom Thread.
