The long awaited Blade Runner sequel is almost here!
Blade Runner 2049 takes place 30 years after the events of the original film and it brings actor Ryan Gosling together with the original Blade Runner, Harrison Ford. This neo-noir science fiction film is being brought to the big screen by Academy-Award-nominated director Denis Villeneuve.
To celebrate the U.S. release of the film on October 6, 2017, artists, designers and illustrators from around the world are invited to create one-of-a-kind artwork for Blade Runner 2049.Artists may submit alternative film posters, animated GIFs or cinemagraphs. Five pieces of art will be selected by
Warner Bros. Pictures and Ridley Scott. The Selected Artists will receive $2,000 for each piece chosen and potentially have their work showcased at an upcoming
Blade Runner 2049 event.
