Filmmaker James Wan, director of the record-setting horror hits The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2, explores another dark corner of that universe with The Nun. Directed by Corin Hardy (The Hallow), the new fright-fest is produced by Wan and by Peter Safran, who has produced all the films in The Conjuring franchise.

When a young nun at a cloistered abbey in Romania takes her own life, a priest with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate. Together they uncover the order's unholy secret. Risking not only their lives but their faith and their very souls, they confront a malevolent force in the form of the same demonic nun that first terrorized audiences in The Conjuring 2, as the abbey becomes a horrific battleground between the living and the damned.

To amplify the launch of the film, New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Pictures are creating an art activation campaign leading up to this film's release, and they want to collaborate with you!

Artists, designers, illustrators and animators from around the world are invited to create one-of-a-kind static or animated artwork for The Nun inspired by the latest imagery and teaser trailer from the film.

Whether it's an illustration, a digital painting, an animated GIF, or even an alternative poster design, the judges are looking for captivating and imaginative artwork to help drive promotion and excitement socially across the film's marketing and digital channels.

Artwork will potentially be featured across the film's marketing campaign, including social accounts, print materials and merchandise. Five (5) pieces of art will be selected by New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Pictures and the Selected Artists will receive $2,000 for each piece selected.
