Create GIF stickers for Aquaman
From filmmaker James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, Aquaman, starring Jason Momoa in the title role. To amplify the launch of Aquaman, Warner Bros. Pictures is looking for an animator who can create an animated GIF sticker pack to be used to promote the film's release!
Artists should create a minimum of at least 2 animated stickers, where 1 should be Aquaman and the others can be another character or symbol of your choosing. The goal is to show your unique style and how you can bring these characters to life as cool, sharable animated GIF stickers! Based on the submitted stickers Warner Bros. Pictures will select one overall artist to create the final GIF sticker pack. For more details on the exact requirements, check out the 'The GIF Sticker Pack' section below.
One (1) overall Selected Artist will be chosen by Warner Bros. Pictures and receive $7,500 to complete the full ten sticker pack which will be used on the film's social channels. Five (5) additional Finalists will also be selected and potentially have their work featured across the film's marketing campaign and awarded with $500 each.

the GIF sticker pack
For this Creative Invite a minimum of at least 2 animated stickers should be submitted. Ideally, you focus on the below stickers:
- Aquaman (must be one of the GIF stickers)
- Mera
- Black Manta
- Quindent
- Stickers should be created in the following dimensions: 500-600px with a 1x1 ratio.
- Please set to loop forever upon exporting.
- Stickers should be exported with at least 20% transparent pixels, no white or opaque color backgrounds.
- Stickers should be submitted in RGB color mode.
- Download the Asset Pack* for visual reference of the characters above.
The overall Selected Artist will be required to to complete the full 10 sticker pack between September 14-24, 2018 with potential edits through October 1, 2018.

One overall Selected Artist will be chosen by Warner Bros. Pictures. The Selected Artist will receive:
- $7,500 for the completion of the sticker pack consisting of 10 animated GIFs according to the specifications of Warner Bros. Pictures
- Potentially receive exposure for their work across Aquaman’s digital and marketing channels
- Receive $500 each

- This opportunity is open globally (except countries in which the United States has embargoed goods, including without limitation, Crimea, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan and Syria) to those who are at least 18 years of age and the age of majority at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law.
- Multiple submissions (up to 10) and artist teams are allowed. Please submit at least 2 GIFs, one of which should be Aquaman.
- Please note, that during the Submission Period, submissions may be featured on Aquaman's social media channels with credit given to the artist where possible.
- Artists should retain their original artwork files in the highest quality possible but designs must be submitted in GIF, max size 10MB. Artwork should be submitted in RGB color mode.
- All submissions must be original artwork (meaning not using third party pre-existing copyright and/or stock materials). Please, no photography.
- Artists may depict the likenesses of the characters in Aquaman and may include the Aquaman title treatment logo in their artwork. All rights in and to the characters, Asset Pack and title treatment logo are reserved by Warner Bros. Pictures.
- Please read "THE GIF STICKER PACK" section carefully. Before creating your artwork, please download this Asset Pack.
- Stickers should be exported with at least 20% transparent pixels, no white or opaque color backgrounds.
- Stickers should be created in the following dimension size: 500-600px with a 1x1 ratio. Please set to loop Forever upon exporting.
- The Selected Artist may be asked to modify their design to fit production requirements.
- The Selected Artist (defined in Official Rules) grants Warner Bros. Pictures and its licensees and assigns, a worldwide, exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use their selected work in connection with the promotion and distribution of Aquaman in all media, now known or hereafter devised. The Selected Artist will be required to sign a license agreement.
- All artists and Finalists retain ownership in the original portions of their work excluding artists who have signed a license agreement. However, by submitting you hereby grant to
Warner Bros. Pictures a worldwide, non-exclusive,
royalty-free license for three (3) years to use your submitted work across
their various online and social marketing platforms in association with
the film Aquaman. All artists will be credited accordingly where possible.
- Any ownership in the work is subject to and restricted by Warner Bros. Pictures' underlying rights in the Warner IP and entrants may make only personal use (e.g. portfolio purposes) of the submissions without express written consent from Warner Bros. Pictures; in no event, may an entrant obtain a fee, royalty, advertising revenue, or any other payment in exchange for the submission.
- Artists must join Talenthouse using an active email address in order to ensure they can be contacted should they be selected.
- Selected Artists and Finalists must respond to Talenthouse within two days of receiving the notification email or else will forfeit all incentives.
- Talenthouse reserves the right to remove inappropriate, offensive and harmful submissions as well as submissions that do not fit the brief and follow the guidelines or Official Rules.

how warner bros. will choose
Warner Bros. Pictures will select from all qualified submissions. A qualified submission is one which meets all the Terms & Conditions, Guidelines and Official Rules.
Artists will be selected from among all eligible submissions received on the basis of: substance; creativity; and originality, each of which will be given equal weight.
