Masters of Sound, an exciting new initiative from leading headphone manufacturer Sennheiser, aims to bring together both established and aspiring musicians in their passion for sound. To launch the project, Sennheiser have teamed up with top producer and recording artist Labrinth to offer musicians and producers the chance to collaborate with Labrinth.

Participants must submit their own profile picture, together with their audio clip, be it an acoustic vocal, rap, beat or fully formed composition. Participants should take their influence from the world that surrounds them, from all different kinds of music from Bob Dylan to David Guetta and everything in between to create something that is new and fresh. The winner as selected by Sennheiser, Labrinth and the marketing/A&R team at Syco Music attend a studio session with Labrinth to collaborate on the final track.
Labrinth is the multifaceted rising star of British music. His first two singles ‘Let The Sun Shine’ and ‘Earthquake’ stormed the top 3, and he has now finished working on his hugely anticipated debut album – ‘Electronic Earth’. He’s an artist, a producer, a true Master of Sound.
"A couple of years ago I was fighting to get my sound out there, so now I want to give people the chance to show the world what they can do. Opportunities like this can get you heard and change your life. There’s so much raw talent out there and I’m hyped to hear all the different styles and sounds that come out of this and see what we can create. I’ve got a feeling already you guys aren’t going to make it easy for me to pick a winner.” - Labrinth
Sennheiser is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of headphones and microphones. Their equipment is used by some of the most successful artists and bands across the world.
"We’ve known Lab for a couple of years, and he is the ideal guy to help us launch Masters of Sound. Working with Talenthouse we hope will give us the perfect opportunity to help a new talent, someone with a passion for sound, someone who deserves it." - Phil Cummings, Artist Relations Project Manager from Sennheiser
