The Creative brief
Clean & Clear is a Johnson & Johnson Brand, and is the No. 2 facial cleansing brand in India. Clean & Clear has always enabled young women to feel beautiful and confident by understanding the skin care and social needs of young women and by offering a distinctive voice that is spirited, candid & reassuring.

Johnson & Johnson Clean & Clear, is inviting all filmmakers and storytellers to create quirky and relatable video ads depicting how Clean and Clear Morning Energy turns a lazy morning into an active energized morning.

One overall selected Artist will receive INR 1 Lakh,
10 highly commended video ads will receive INR 10,000 each.

Clean and Clear offers a range of relevant products that meet their specific skincare needs, with the payoff of clean, clear and beautiful skin. The brand’s persona is that of a real, relatable, fun and candid girl who has the same fears and doubts that teens do, but who embraces life with a spirit of optimism.
BRAND GUIDELINES
The video ad of duration between 20 to 40 seconds should depict the regular challenges of a 16-18 year old girl. The tone, look, feel and music of video ad should be in line with the current fun, relatable, candid and optimistic imagery of the brand. The video ad should bring out two key parts –
  • Her current behavior in the morning, which brings out her struggles with waking up in a relatable and entertaining manner –these can be real life behaviors that happen to most teen girls.
  • When she uses Morning Energy, she really wakes up- Morning Energy with bursting beads*** and berry extracts** really wakes up her skin (better than any other*). This makes her feel fresh and excited about the day ahead.
  • The hero variant “Morning Energy Brightening Berry” needs to appear in the film, and the film should also mention that it is available in other variants as well hence needs to have all three variants together as well.

* Like no other product can- we cannot claim this but we expect consumers to feel like this after watching the video ad

** We can show a limited number of fruits (max 2)

*** We can only say that Morning Energy contains Bursting Beads, we cannot say that any benefit comes because of Bursting Beads alone. The freshness, wake up skin is attributable to the full Morning Energy package




Other information:
  • VOs should be in spoken teen language and hence be very relatable for them
  • Video ad must end with the following SLATE
CREATIVE INVITE GUIDELINES
  • The film maker must be a resident of India and above 18 years of age The video ad should be in HINGLISH and funny and short
  • The participant should have all the IP rights for the content he/she is submitting
  • Do not post any obscene, defamatory or annoying materials/content
  • By transmitting or posting any communication or material to this site there should be an agreement that Talenthouse may use your communication as material for any purpose, including reproduction, transmission, publication, broadcast and posting. Further it is expressly agreed not to post or transmit any unlawful, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic or profane material or any material that could constitute or encourage conduct that would be considered a criminal offence or violation of any law
  • The selected artists must respond to Talenthouse within 2 days of receiving the notification email or else will forfeit all incentives
  • Artists must join Talenthouse using an active email address in order to ensure they can be contacted should they be selected

Career Opportunity
  • One Overall Selected Artist will receive INR 1 Lakh*
  • 10 Highly Commended films will receive INR 10,000 each *
  • The winning/chosen films will also be used by Clean and Clear on their Social Media channels
  • And if a film is really good, it will be showcased as a TVC
  • The winning entries will automatically become a property of Johnson & Johnson for perpetuity and can be used in any form on digital and other (if video is considered really good by the host) platforms

* Subject to GOI taxes as applicable



How Johnson and Johnson will select
The host will select from all qualified submissions. A qualified submission is one which meets all the Terms & Conditions, Guidelines and Official Rules.
