Creators Selected On
September 21, 2020

A Note From the DC:

DC FanDome, a first-of-its kind, virtual experience for DC superfans around the world, was a lot to handle in one day! It turned out to be so massive that with so many hours of programming, not even The Flash could get through it in 24 hours!

In order to super-serve the fans and provide the best possible experience, DC FanDome has been expanded into two global events — the first on August 22nd - DC FanDome: Hall of Heroes, and a second on-demand experience in DC FanDome: Explore the Multiverse on September 12th, where fans can create and curate their own adventure. And -- fans can now teleport their FanDome experience as both will be accessible across all mobile platforms (in addition to desktop). Please pay note, to the new Selected Creator Announcement date: Sept. 21, 2020.

Fans around the world will now be able to vote on September 12th (instead of August 22nd) for their favorite finalists in both the ‘Create static fan art for the DC FanDome event contest’ and ‘Show us your DC Fandom contest’ within DC FanDome: Explore the Multiverse. Vote to help select the winning creators on 9.12.2020 by registering for the event and following the instructions at schedule.DCFanDome.com/vote.

- The DC Team

To celebrate the incredible DC Multiverse, DC invites YOU to participate in a first of its kind, 24-hour global event: DC FanDome! Show us your best DC cosplay or makeup; at home Batcave; Superman shrine; epic comic book collection; DC Comic-inspired tattoos; decorated rooms. We want to see it all – anything from heroes, villains, pets, family, makeup and mashups of imagery from two or more eligible characters. Showcase what makes you DC’s biggest fan and take part in this massive, fan first virtual event.

Create and submit a one-of-a-kind static or multimedia submission for DC that showcases your super-fandom and we will judge it based on creativity, innovation, originality and uniqueness.

The judges are looking for entries that celebrate the DC Multiverse and show off your super-fandom. Check out some of the past DC cosplay for visual inspiration and the categories they will be considered below.

Entries may also be on display digitally within the DC FanDome virtual event in August for fans from around the world to check out. 27 selected Finalists will be displayed for fans to vote on their favorite to help our judges select the winners. 7 Selected Creators will be chosen (see “Things to Consider” below), receiving USD $1,400 each, and potentially have their work featured across select DC’s FanDome marketing campaigns and exclusive fan merchandise.
