- The DC Team
To celebrate the incredible DC Multiverse, DC invites YOU to participate in a first of its kind, 24-hour global event: DC FanDome! Show us your best DC cosplay or makeup; at home Batcave; Superman shrine; epic comic book collection; DC Comic-inspired tattoos; decorated rooms. We want to see it all – anything from heroes, villains, pets, family, makeup and mashups of imagery from two or more eligible characters. Showcase what makes you DC’s biggest fan and take part in this massive, fan first virtual event.

Create and submit a one-of-a-kind static or multimedia submission for DC that showcases your super-fandom and we will judge it based on creativity, innovation, originality and uniqueness.

The judges are looking for entries that celebrate the DC Multiverse and show off your super-fandom. Check out some of the past DC cosplay for visual inspiration and the categories they will be considered below.

Entries may also be on display digitally within the DC FanDome virtual event in August for fans from around the world to check out. 27 selected Finalists will be displayed for fans to vote on their favorite to help our judges select the winners. 7 Selected Creators will be chosen (see “Things to Consider” below), receiving USD $1,400 each, and potentially have their work featured across select DC’s FanDome marketing campaigns and exclusive fan merchandise.

Creators may be credited where their work is shown.
    • You can submit new or existing work including make-up or Cosplay from previous events (so long as you own the rights, other than the DC properties/characters depicted, and your submission has not been entered into any other contest), but please ensure that you or your immediate family are the only person/people included in the work submitted (no one else is visible). • Up to 10 submissions are allowed per creator (as long as each submission is distinct from your other submissions) so you don’t have to choose between showing off only your Cosplay, your Makeup Timelapse or creatively displaying your collection of DC Merch – submit them all!
    • Please do not submit fan art to this Creative Brief. See the Fan Art Creative Brief here for your artwork!
    • Full eligibility details are included in the Official Rules (linked below).
