Peacock is calling on fans to show their best Peacock cosplay!

You are invited to submit a photograph of yourself or your Creative Team dressed as your favorite character(s) from the list of approved Peacock titles below.

Up to five (5) pieces of work will be chosen by Peacock as Selected Creators.

Each Selected Creator will receive $2,000 USD for each piece selected.

Peacock fans are encouraged to demonstrate what makes their point of view unique and to celebrate Peacock characters in a humorous, wholesome, fun, celebratory, and informative manner!

Creators may potentially have their Cosplay featured on Peacock, NBCUniversal or their partners' social media accounts.

THINGS TO CONSIDER
  • Submissions should be a photograph showcasing the Creator or Creative Team's best Peacock Cosplay.
  • Submissions should only contain characters from the below list of approved Peacock titles.
  • Submissions should feature:
    • Peacock Fandom — We want to see your unique love for Peacock front and center. You are encouraged to take a deep dive into your favorite Peacock titles and celebrate the characters you love most.
    • Creativity & Originality— Think outside of the box to showcase a unique cosplay featuring your personal flair and the Peacock title that makes you excited to create!
    • Community - Include your Peacock binge-watching buddies in your submission as your Creative Team. Whether a friend or a pet, cosplaying can be even better with the ones we love. (Just like watching Peacock).
  • Keep in mind, submissions should be suitable for social and digital platforms, and may be shared directly by official Peacock, NBCU or partner handles through the Brief Submission Period and one year thereafter, with credit given to Creator or Creative Team.
  • Submissions may include a cross-over or mash-ups of different titles from the list of approved Peacock titles. (ex. The Office mash-up with Chucky). However, submissions should not include any cross-over or mash-ups with any other brands, properties or titles (as laid out in the Brief Guidelines and Official Rules).
Format & Specifications
  • Creators may submit up to three (3) times.

  • Maximum File size: 10MB

  • Accepted Submission Format: JPEG or PNG

  • All Submissions must be a visual static asset

  • All images to use sRGB color profile

  • Please submit photos at the original resolution. Do not reduce or compress.

  • Ideal Aspect Ratios:

    • VERTICAL - 9x16 ratio (minimum size 2160px x 3840px)

    • SQUARE - 1x1 ratio (minimum size 2160px x 2160px)

    • HORIZONTAL - 16x9 ratio (minimum size 3840px x 2160px)
  • You are encouraged to submit time-lapse videos of your creative process as well.
    • Time-lapse videos are NOT required.
    • Any time-lapse video submitted at the time of entry will NOT be considered as part of the judging.
    • Format: MP4
    • Recommended Video Length: 9-15 Seconds, Maximum 60 seconds
    • Video Aspect Ratio: 9 x 16 (Vertical)

    • Do follow each social platform’s brand safety guidelines as laid out by TikTok, Instagram, or Twitter.
    • Do find cosply inspiration as you stream Peacock's current hits, binge-worthy TV shows, exclusive Originals and more.

    DON'TS
    • Do not base your submission on any show, film or content not included in the above list of Peacock approved titles (even if they are available to stream on Peacock).
    • Do not include any photography or imagery of talent likeness based on the cast members in any of the approved Peacock titles. Do not include masks, shirts, hats or posters that features imagery of the talent's likeness in any way.
    • Do not include phrases with any profanity or offensive language, and do not speak negatively or in a derogatory manner about anyone.
    • Do not reference any third party (Non-NBC or Peacock) brands or third party content, including logos, images, videos or quotes, in your submissions.
    • Do not include anything that could be interpreted as violent, sexually explicit, racist, pornographic, sexist, political, discriminating, religious, violent, or offensive.
    • Do not use or reference any fan fiction in your submission or submit fan fiction/mock scripts, or show/film ideas as your submission.
    • Do not include any text in your submission, including character quotes or any show logos from the list of approved Peacock titles.

    INCENTIVES
    Peacock will identify up to five (5) Selected Creators.

    Each Selected Creator will receive $2,000 USD for each piece selected.

    Additional Incentives:
      • All Creators may potentially be featured on the official social channels of Peacock, NBCUniversal or their partners (e.g. @TheOffice, @NBC, etc.) for up to one year after the Brief Submission Period end date.
    HOW WILL PEACOCK IDENTIFY SELECTED CREATORS?
    Peacock will select from all qualified submissions. A qualified submission is one which meets all the Terms & Conditions, Guidelines and Official Rules.

    The judging criteria are based on Creativity (30%), Originality (30%) and Overall Understanding of the Theme (40%).

    OPEN BRIEF GUIDELINES
    • NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
    • All submissions must comply with the requirements detailed in the Official Rules.
    • Who is eligible: This Open Brief is open to residents of the 50 United States who are at least 18 years of age. Full eligibility details are included in the Official Rules. Void where prohibited by law.
    • How to submit: Click on the ‘Participate’ tab and follow the instructions. Work must be uploaded as JPEG, PNG (max. size 10MB). Creators must join Talenthouse using an active email address in order to ensure they can be contacted should they be selected. Time-lapse videos can be uploaded as supplemental material (not to be judged as a submission) must be uploaded in MP4 format (max. size 10MB).
    • Multiple submissions, up to three (3) times, are allowed per artist or creative team.
    • Do not base your submission on any films, shows, WWE, sports or any other content not included in the list of approved Peacock titles listed above.
    • All submissions must be entirely original works and may not directly use images or screen shots of Peacock content, third-party pre-existing copyright and/or stock materials (other than public domain materials). Peacock IP should serve only as inspiration for your work.
    • Submissions cannot include any photography or imagery of talent likeness based on the cast members in any of the approved Peacock titles. Submissions may not include masks, shirts, hats or posters that features imagery of the talent's likeness in any way.
    • Submissions can not reference any third party (Non-NBC or Peacock) brands (including the logos of any sports teams) or their content in your submissions.
    • Submissions should not reference any fan fiction or include fan fiction mock scripts, or propose show or film ideas within your submission.
    • Talenthouse reserves the right to remove inappropriate, offensive, and harmful submissions as well as submissions that do not fit the brief and follow the guidelines or Official Rules.
    • Please note, that during the Submission Period and for up to one (1) year later, submissions may be featured on Peacock’s, NBCUniversal's and/or its affiliates' social media channels and credit may be given to the creator. Such use shall be governed by Peacock’s and NBCUniversal’s Privacy Policy.

    • All creators, whether Selected Creators or not, hereby acknowledge and agree that Peacock intellectual property and intellectual property rights embodies therein, and all derivative rights thereof including the embodiment of the films, shows or sports featured on Peacock (collectively, "Peacock IP") is the sole and exclusive property of Peacock.
    • With the exception of Selected Creators who have signed a Release Form, all creators retain ownership only in the original portions of their Work (defined in the Official Rules) that do not contain or are not derivative of Peacock IP. However, by submitting your Work, you hereby grant to Peacock, its parent, affiliates, and subsidiaries and each of their respective licensees and assigns a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license for one (1) year from the Submission Period end date for the purpose of using your submitted work across the various marketing platforms in association with Peacock.
    • Selected Creators will be required to sign a Release Form which, in return for the USD $2,000 incentive, will transfer all rights, title, interest, and ownership in the submission to Peacock, throughout the world for the full period of copyright and all renewals, revivals and extensions thereof.
    • Selected Creators may be asked to modify their design up to 1 round of minor edits so their work fits production requirements.
    • Any ownership in the work is subject to and restricted by underlying rights in the Peacock IP and creators may make only personal use (e.g. portfolio purposes) of the submissions without express written consent from Peacock; in no event, may a creator obtain a fee, royalty, advertising revenue, or any other payment in exchange for the submission, other than those Selected Creators who receive an incentive from Sponsor.
    • All Finalists will be required to submit documentation proving their ownership of the content shown in the submission so please don’t submit any media which you did not create – this includes photos you may have taken of others in costume who have not expressly given permission to enter them into this competition. Creators should appear directly within the submission, by themself or as part of the collective Creative Team (as set forth in the Official Rules). You may be asked to provide proof of identity for yourself or anyone appearing in the submission, and to sign a Model Release form as a part of the verification process.
    • Any people appearing in submissions should look to be at least 18 years of age.
    • During the selection period, Talenthouse will contact the Identified Selected Creators. Creators must respond to Talenthouse within forty-eight (48) hours or else the creator will forfeit all incentives. For the verification, the creator will be asked to provide the original files of your work and a scan of your ID.
