M:ID is looking for appealing and thumb-stopping ways in showcasing their new brand and product lines on various social media platforms with the help of Talenthouse creators.

Create striking animated visuals and static artwork that represents the M:ID's brand identity, its approach to new masculinity, and its products and product usages.

M:ID, will choose three (3) pieces of work as a Selected Creator and receive €2,000. Additionally, five (5) pieces of work will be chosen as Finalists, and receive €1,200 each and potentially have their work featured in M:ID’s marketing, social content, print materials, and merchandise.

Things to Consider

    • Lifestyle: Focus on 'realistic' and lifestyle (how-to) usages of the product
    • Premium Product Glorification & Branding: Focus on the product, packaging, & brand colors
    • Ingredients/Fragrance: Focus on the fragrance or key ingredients
  • Check out this mood board and visit the following M:ID properties M:ID.com, Instagram, and Facebook for visual inspiration around each key message before starting your work
  • Use the provided product images and renders in your static artwork and animations
    • Download this asset pack before creating your work


  • Use M:ID's brand colours as the main colour palette, you can add complementary colors if you wish. Please review M:ID's brand guidelines
    • If a font is used, please use brand fonts: Bebas Neue & Roboto
  • You can submit up to 15 times for this Creative Brief. We encourage you to submit submissions for all three product lines
  • Focus on making artworks attention-grabbing, appealing, relevant
  • Your artwork should be humorous, vibrant, aspirational, premium look & feel but still approachable, inclusive, performant, desirable
  • For static submissions, your artwork should be created in AI or PSD, aspect ratio 1:1 (min 1080px square), RGB, created as a layered artwork file
  • For animation submissions, your artwork should be created in After Effects or PSD, aspect ratio 1:1 RGB, be 5-10 seconds long
  • Keep in mind the brand’s target market should be men, 20 - 40 years old
  • If copy is included with artworks, please only use English or German
  • Don't include references to any dangerous situations, other brands, show/imply alcohol or drunkenness, or anything violent or offensive
  • We kindly ask that you do not share the artwork you submit to this brief on your social channels or anywhere online until after Selected Creator announcement

About M:ID

M:ID is a newly launched hair & scalp care brand which aims to introduce a new paradigm for male beauty-care in Germany. M:ID products are personalized to men’s unique hair & scalp needs and a tailor-made routine is provided to each person through a product finder questionnaire on the website. M:ID also aims to create a space where men feel comfortable to discuss their needs and issues, and where no topic is taboo: where men are liberated to be themselves. Men can subscribe in order to receive their products directly at home, every 30 or 60 days.

The Incentives
3 pieces of work will be chosen by M:ID, as Selected Creators. They will:
  • Potentially have their artwork featured in M:ID's marketing campaign
  • Potentially receive exposure for their artwork across M:ID's digital and marketing channels including print materials and merchandise
  • Receive 2,000€ for the selected work
Additionally, 5 pieces of work will be chosen as Finalists. Each will:
  • Potentially have their artwork featured in M:ID's marketing campaign
  • Potentially receive exposure for their artwork across M:ID's digital and marketing channels including print materials and merchandise
  • Receive 1,200€ for the selected work

Creative Brief Guidelines
  • Who is eligible: This opportunity is open globally and you need to be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction of primary residence at the time of submission. Employees and their immediate family and household members of method and TLNT (Talenthouse, Ello and Zooppa) are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law.
  • Limit 15 submissions per creator or teams.
  • How to submit: Click on the ‘Participate’ tab and follow the instructions. Your static work must be submitted in JPEG or PNG format, max. size 10 MB. Please retain your original layered artwork files in the highest quality possible. Please no photography. Your animations work must be submitted in MP4 format, max. size 10 MB. Please retain your original source files in the highest quality possible.
  • Please add a short description in English explaining the inspiration behind your work. Please use the 'Say something about your submission' section within your submission.
  • We advise you to carefully read the 'Things to Consider' section above.
  • If you are not selected, you will retain ownership in the original portions of your work. However, by submitting you hereby grant method a worldwide, non-exclusive, digital license from Creative Brief launch, for up to 3 months after the Selected Creator Announcement, to use your submitted work across their various online and social media platforms. If your work is used, you will be credited accordingly.

  • If you are a ‘Selected Creator’, you will be required to assign all rights, title, and interest in and to the selected work to Henkel for the specified incentives. Upon selection, you will be required to sign a License Agreement and the Awardee Agreement. Please note that submissions can be used by you for personal, non-commercial, and portfolio use only.
  • If you are a ‘Finalist’, you will be required to assign a worldwide, exclusive, digital, 1-year usage license in and to the selected work to Henkel for the specified incentives. Upon selection, you will be required to sign a License Agreement and the Awardee Agreement. Please note that submissions can be used by you for personal, non-commercial, and portfolio use only.
  • If selected, you may be asked to modify your work to fit production requirements.
  • Please provide an active email address when registering with Talenthouse to ensure you can be contacted should you be selected.
  • During the Selection Period, Talenthouse will reach out to those being shortlisted. You must respond to Talenthouse within forty-eight (48) hours or else you will forfeit all incentives. For the verification, you will be asked to provide the original files of your work and a scan of your ID.
  • Talenthouse reserves the right to remove inappropriate, offensive and harmful submissions as well as submissions that do not fit the brief, these guidelines or Official Rules (see below).
  • No purchase necessary to enter or be selected.

How M:ID will choose

M:ID will select from all qualified submissions. A qualified submission is one that meets all the Terms & Conditions, Guidelines, and Official Rules.

All eligible submissions received will be judged according to the following equally weighted judging criteria: Creativity (33%), Originality (33%), and Overall Understanding of the theme (33%)
