Michael Alvarez (AKA Death Kitty Disco) has won Best Acoustic Guitarist in the San Antonio Guitar Wars in '95, '97 and 2013 as well as Best Electric Guitarist, as well as various awards as a chef. At age 42, he has been a part of many genres of music in San Antonio. He has been signed with popular local artists , been recorded on 2 well selling punk albums, produced 2 Cd's and has toured professionally. Michael writes, records and plays all genres of music, having played with bands that play Texas Country, Rock, Pop, Punk, Metal,Latin, Alternative, Funk, Flamenco Jazz, Disco, Blues, etc. Currently, besides recording at his home studio, he is studio musician/co-producer for certain artists for Winston Martin's Knob Trauma Studios in San Antonio, Texas.
