We are so pumped to bring you a brand new creative brief from our friends at Spark AR. Before we jump in on how to nail this brief and bag yourself a chunk of the $170,000 prize pot. Here's are the key details:
THE BRIEF
It's simple! Create rear-facing world AR effects using Spark AR. You can submit up to 15 effects for a chance to take home a slice of our $170,000 cash pot.
THE THEMES
Gamify your World - Create games-themed AR effects that interact with the world around you. Make them playful, interactive, and think outside the box.
This could be anything from playing Tetris on towers to Space Invaders in the sky!
Animate the Inanimate - Create AR effects that bring the inanimate to life. Think statues, posters, plants, buildings, and let your mind wander.
THE PRIZES
There's $170,000 worth of prizes to be won! With early bird prizes as well, check the 'Incentives' section on the brief for more details.
While inspiration for augmented reality is all around that doesn't prevent the dreaded creative block from making an unwelcome appearance. It happens to the best of us. If we're talking about you, don't panic. Help is on hand with our tips below.
Get inspired
Last month we launched our first in the series of briefs from Spark AR. Take a look at the banging submissions we received that can show you exactly what we mean by World AR.

Bringing up the rear
This brief is looking for effects designed for the rear-facing camera (so not face effects). We love to see your faces, obviously, but this should not be a selfie effect. Scrub up on your World Effects before getting started.
Be playful
Let your weird and wonderful personalities shine, we love to see it! This is reality augmented, so the only thing limiting you is your imagination.
