This week we discuss Ivan Olita's career journey from Werner Herzog filmmaking and the “why” behind the founding of BRAVÒ to the importance of narrative and mentorship.
Ivan is a nomadic filmmaker and creative director based in Los Angeles and his native Italy. He honed his love and commitment to storytelling while studying at Werner Herzog’s Rogue film school.
This propelled him to found BRAVÒ, a production company that delivers documentary style formats for commercial and editorial use. This style has landed him an international book of clients, collaborators and strategic partners.
His work has been featured by National Geographic, Nowness, The New Yorkers, Aeon, The Atlantic and POV and is a regular staff pick on Vimeo.
