Back in August, we partnered up with Snap Inc. to launch one of our most exciting Creative Briefs yet. We asked creators to design and creative innovative AR world experiences in Snap’s very own Augmented Reality creation tool, Lens Studio and our community did not disappoint! Check out the results of the Creative Brief in this little sizzle reel below!
While Snap’s Selected Creators were already announced last week, we wanted to take the time to show some appreciation to creators that really wow’d us but were unfortunately not selected by the client.
Introducing: Staff Picks for the Snap Lens Studio Creative Brief! Read on to check out some of the other creators who caught our eyes.
Stephanie: First of all, I have to say this was not easy - the AR community is really talented. Ultimately, Cyrene Quaimco’s AR drawing lesson completely won me over. I love the idea of interactive learning right on my phone. I also have to give a shout out to Apoora Piva - who wouldn’t like a magical portal to somewhere new in 2020?
Ada: This adorable floating hot air balloon AR filter stole my heart! I love Elena’s whimsical style of art, the animations are smooth and the colors pop and catch my attention. Plus, it helps that I’m a romantic at heart!
Gilbert: MKS RKW’s AR filter instantly immerses you into what seems to be an underwater world. The different animated sea creatures and plants have smooth animation and seem to move realistically. The tie-dye colors give the environment a twist which makes it fun to use.
Gilbert: Halloween. Enough said. Elena Maykhrych’s cat, pumpkin, ghosts, and bats are a nice depiction and interpretation of what could be a dark and goulish theme. I wouldn’t mind bringing these ghosts and pumpkin into my environment. The detail on the artwork and animation are very well made. It’s a fun AR fliter many would use for the upcoming holiday.
Stick around for more AR briefs in the future! We can’t wait to see what else you will create.
