On Wednesday the 28th of November members of the Talenthouse Team attended the Adobe Creative Meetup in London. The event provided insight into some of Adobe’s new features within their products, it was a great opportunity for networking that also had a stellar lineup of creative talent who told their inspirational stories throughout the night.
Rufus Deuchler, Principal Manager of Creative Cloud Evangelism at Adobe shared some of the highlights from their recent MAX conference in LA. He gave the audience an insightful teaser into some of the amazing new creative features that Adobe has to offer within their suite of Cloud products (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign examples were just a few!).
Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima (otherwise known as the design duo MinaLima) also gave an inspiring talk about the transition from starting off their careers as freelancers to becoming the hugely successful graphic design and illustration duo behind many blockbuster film franchises. They began their creative collaboration in 2002 to imagine and create the graphic universe of the Harry Potter™ film series. Since founding their studio MinaLima, they have continued their involvement in the series and are currently working on the Fantastic Beasts™ films.
To round off the night, YouTube sensation Patricia Bright had a Q&A with Adobe’s Simon Morris Senior Director Campaign Marketing EMEA to discuss the landscape of content creation, and how audiences, influencers and content creating software has changed since she started YouTubing ten years ago!
All in all, the Adobe Creative Meetup was hugely insightful and said a lot about the future of the creative landscape for both brands, agencies and creators. Wish you could have seen it for yourself? Fear not, as you can now watch the live stream from the event YouTube.
