TH: What are you looking for in the "Create multi-media artwork for Tullamore D.E.W." Creative Invite?
TD: We’re looking for a creative visual that helps consumers easily understand that Tullamore D.E.W. has a distinctive Triple Blend recipe, translating to a whiskey of greater complexity and character with a distinctive and smooth flavor. When we refer to Triple Blend, specifically it is the blending of three different types of whiskey, pot still, single malt and golden grain. 

TH: In what ways do you imagine the ideal interpretation of this brief?
TD: Submissions can be as creative as possible and do not need to include the bottle. Our preferred submissions clearly illustrate the blending of three different types of whiskey or core ingredients. The ideal submission captures this, but also communicate the final product as having the distinct benefit of complexity and smoothness.

TH: What advice would you give to visual artists before they start working on their submissions?
TD: Don’t be constrained by previous work by our brand. It’s a difficult message to convey and that’s why we’re reaching out to the creative community to stretch our thinking. Don’t feel like your submissions need to be overly branded, or Irish. Our preference is for work that most effectively communicates the Triple Blend message rather than a brand message. Do not confuse the brief with our Power of Three messaging (Triple Blended, Triple Distilled and Triple Cask Matured). This brief is solely focused on Triple Blend.

TH: What are the 2-3 key things people should take away from this brief when working on their creative?
1) Focus on the Triple Blend recipe.
2) Communicate the end result is a whiskey of greater complexity and smooth flavor.
