Production Paradise is an online directory for film and photography created in 2002. It’s the most trusted directory and online magazine, serving as a one-stop-shop for all production needs.
On three occasions this year, they have given the Talenthouse community the opportunity to benefit from exposure to thousands of creative directors, producers and art buyers around the world from internationally known brands and marketing agencies.
So far this year Production Paradise have hosted Creative Invites focusing on ‘car and landscape’ photography, Computer Generated Content (CGI) and Photo Post Production, and illustration portfolios. 354 pieces of artwork and portfolios were submitted across these Creative Invites, and four talented artists, Alex Barrera, Pau Molas, Roman Lavrov and Yaroslav Danylchenko were selected to have their work featured in a ‘Spotlight Magazine’ that includes a visibility pack with a value of $2,000 USD!
In celebration of the career opportunities these four artists were rewarded, we invited them to tell us about the benefits they’ve experienced from working with Talenthouse and Production Paradise! Check out the exclusive interviews with each of the artists and the pictures of their work.

Alex Barrera, Colombia

TH: Can you tell us about the pieces you chose from your portfolio for this Creative Invite and why you chose them?
AB: I chose the pieces because they reflect who I am as an artist and my particular style. Every illustration sends a message with an unique concept.

TH: Had you ever been chosen as a Selected Artist before and if so how did it make you feel?
AB:
I’m pretty new in this field. It was an amazing surprise to see how the first time I participated in a Creative Invite had the fortune to be selected, so I feel incredible special with this opportunity.

TH: Describe your style in three words.
AB:
Empathetic, intuitive, sincere.

TH: Do you have any tips for other Talenthouse artists who are finding it hard to get their work noticed?
AB:
I think sometimes we are afraid to show ourselves because we are very demanding with our work and we put a lot of pressure. I think the best advice is to follow our passion and believe in what we like. The result will be reflected eventually.

Pau Molas, Spain

TH: What did you get out of Production Paradise as a platform to showcase your work?
PM: I was able able to showcase my work directly to important clients who are looking for professionals to collaborate with. It's a big opportunity and I'm grateful for that.

TH: Where do you take most of your inspiration from whilst you are creating you work?
PM: It's a very organic and intuitive process. We have millions of inputs in a daily basis of all kinds, it's inevitable that we will be influenced by them. Life’s experience also plays a very important role when creating art and artists see it reflected in their work.

TH:Describe your style in three words.
PM: Versatile, bold and clean.

TH: Do you have any tips for other Talenthouse artists who are finding it hard to get their work noticed?
PM: Perseverance and hard work, no magical recipe, just passion and hard work.

Roman Lavrov, Russia

TH: Tell us a bit about yourself and what it is that you do?
RL: I am a car photographer and creative retoucher from Russia. I have five years' experience shooting cars on location and on the race track and have worked on numerous CGI projects.
Most of my projects include shooting motorsports (FIA WEC, Blancpain GT Series, Russian Drift Series, etc.). For the last four years I have been cooperating on a permanent basis as a photographer, assistant photographer, retoucher, post-production supervisor and art director as part of the team of Sergey Krestov - Cross Production.

TH: Where do you take most of your inspiration from whilst you are creating you work?
RL: Movie/music/production Paradise/running. Running is a good time for thinking. You have 10km or 1 hour for only yourself and your mind. Try it.  That’s really cool.

TH: What did you get out of Production Paradise as a platform to showcase your work?
RL: I have gotten few offers. I have finished one interesting retouch project for ALPINA Automobiles. But in Russia Production Paradise is a story about your status as a photographer or retoucher. If you are featured here, you are ready for a big project.

TH: How did becoming a Selected Artist impact your artist career?
RL: I got more attention from other photographers and production.

Yaroslav Danylchenko, Ukraine

TH: Tell us a bit about yourself and what it is that you do?
ID: I’m an advertising tabletop, food and product photographer based in my studio in Kiev/Ukraine. I love to work with food and liquids, glass, metal surfaces. My real passion is all kinds of movements and action in the image - something in the photo must fly, drop, break, smash, etc. with post-production works.

TH: What did you get out of Production Paradise as a platform to showcase your work?
ID: It gave and is giving me new contacts in my sphere. I’ve been contacted by agents, production companies and post production designers who all want to work with me.

TH: Where do you take most of your inspiration from whilst you are creating you work?
ID: The main thing I’ve realized is that you will only create nice images if you do it with passion and love, you must like it by yourself first.

TH: How did you find out about Talenthouse?
ID: My friend art director told me about it. She always looks for inspiration on Talenthouse!
