Warner Bros. Consumer Products, DC, and Palm NFT Studio have announced that next month they will launch The Bat Cowl Collection; a collectable offering of 200,000 different Bat-Cowls, each on sale as an NFT. The Cowl collection will be priced at $300 each, meaning earnings could come in at a tidy $60million.
Last year DC gave out DC Fandome NFTs to a random selection of people who registered for the DC Fandome event (which you'll remember from the brilliant work created by Talenthouse Artists, right?). Those who are already in posession of a DC Fandome NFT receive exclusive access to the presale of The Bat Cowl Collection, which will all be available from April 26 on nft.dcuniverse.com.

DC Publisher and CCO Jim Lee said: "While Batman is one of the world's most iconic Super Heroes, garnering hundreds of millions of fans all around the globe—his appearance has changed and shifted over the past 83 years. What's exciting about this amazing collaboration is that we are continuing the evolution of his distinctive Bat Cowl by bringing it into the modern digital world, making it accessible and more wildly engaging than ever before.
"Through the introduction of carefully curated colors, textures, and upgrades—the end results offer a take and taste for every kind of Batman fan out there and serve as powerful ways for all of us to make a timeless icon our very own."
On the DC Marketplace, it's said that NFT owners will be able to re-sell them, potentially turning a tidy profit for themselves as we all know there are some extreme Bat-fans out there with money to burn.
