About Me:
I am a student of Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, Kolkata, India; presently studying in Final year of Film Direction and Screenplay writing. I have graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Saradar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat, India in 2003.
I am a Film buff and my passion for Film took me to Film and Television Institute of India, Pune; there I assisted in Diploma films as well as TV short films. My short documentary "Neev" (The Foundation) got Jury Award in Sebastopol Documentary Film Festival in 2011.
At present working on my Final Year Diploma Film "Dream Merchant".

Биография Biography:
Wardan Tiple was born on 21st August 1980 in a small town Chandrapur of Maharashtra state in India. He was very fascinated by Cinema from his childhood, he used to watch Hindi cinema in nearby theatres which were very close to his house and it costs him nothing because of his father’s reputation as a Tehsildar (Land Surveyor Superintendent).
He completed his primary, secondary and higher secondary studies in the Chandrapur. For graduation he went to Surat in Gujarat state where he completed his Mechanical Engineering and got selected in Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Hyderabad. There he worked as an Operations Officer but job doesn’t give him satisfaction. His search for his happiness turned him towards Cinema.
He left the job after one year in 2004 and went to FTII (Film & Television Institute of India) Pune, there he started assisting film students in their projects and started gaining the knowledge. He got selected in SRFTI (Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute) Kolkata, in 2007 in Direction and Screenplay Writing.
From then he never looked back and made his first Short Film “AAKAAR (The Shaping)”, which is based upon his childhood experience. Recently he completed his short Documentary “NEEV (The Foundation)” on Brick makers and their life at brick field. It won the Jury Award in Sebastopol Documentary Film Festival in 2011. He made a playback/music video "Bawra Mann" based upon a Hindi song, it was appreciated by many industry professionals.
Now he is working on his final Year Diploma Film, "Dream Merchant" which will soon go into production.

Влияния I am influenced by many people. My ardent idol is Dr. Babasaheb Ambedker and The Buddha. I like to observe the nature, life and people.
In Indian Cinema, I am influenced by many Indian Directors like Satyajit Ray, Ritwik Ghatak, Guru Dutt, Raj Kapoor, Prakash Mehara, Yash Chopra, Ramesh Sippy and many others. I love Bollywood films.
In World Cinema, I loved Luchino Visconti, Werener Herzog, Federico Fellini, Michaelangelo Antonini, Andrei Tarkovsky, Sergio Leone, Pedro Almavodor, Jean Luc Goddard, Emir Kusturica, Quentin Tarantino... and many others... the list is endless.

I love Cinema. And in near future I would like to collaborate with world film makers like Film School Students, Directors, Cinematographers, Editors, Singers, Musicians, Writers, Fashion Photographers, SFX generatos, Sound Desigeners and each and every person who is related and contributed towards the Cinema.
