Editing my last Shortfilm.
Location Austria, Wien, Wien
Bio As the eldest son of a Kurdish immigrant family, Umut Dag grew up in a working-class district of Vienna. In spite of his addiction to film, he was sent to Business School. Afterwards, he studied International Development, Theology and Teaching. Whilst directing his first short film, he worked in the Austrian film industry to gain production experience and contacts. In 2006 he decided that a spell at film school wouldn't hurt, and applied to the Film Academy in Vienna, where he has since been studying under Prof. Peter Patzak and Prof. Michael Haneke. He is currently working on new projects and developing his first full-length feature as a director.
