Bio Tom Johnson is 19 years old and currently lives in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, with no formal qualifications in photography, he taught himself through trial and error from a young age. His 'eye' was influenced by time spent in his youth in the family's holiday home in Collioure in the South Of France - the home of the Fauves art group including Matisse and Derain who painted Collioure in wild colors under the town's special light. He cut his teeth photographing live music, and artists such as KT Tunstall, Pendulum and Foals. Tom has now has been photographing models for two years, and learning about the industry through an internship at the fashion based PR agency ‘STUDIO STROK’. Whilst being the photography and videography director for Oxford Fashion Week for two years, Tom shot much of the promotional material and backstage imagery at the shows.

In the future he will to travel to gain inspiration for his upcoming projects, and ultimately, perhaps to go to conflict zones across the world like his favorite photographers Don McCullin and Philip Jones Griffiths.
