| WHO IT’S FOR |
1 Day of Art is open to all Talenthouse artists -- photographers, painters, writers, performers, etc. |
|
|
| WHO IT’S FROM |
1 Day of Art explores the creative mainstream and fringes of one major international city in order to produce the latest issue of (t)here magazine, an award-winning international art magazine, in 24 hours. The event asks each person from a select group of 12 artists to create a unique body of work in 24 hours based on a randomly drawn subject. All work must be executed within the city limits. Film crews span the city to document each individual artist’s process.
(t)here magazine is dedicated to creating content that is neither edited nor editorialized. It is a museum book that is distributed in major markets, museums, galleries and fine stores within the United States, Europe and Asia. |

|
| HOW THE WINNER WILL BE CHOSEN |
(t)here magazine’s editorial and creative staff will review submissions and select one winning artist and five additional artists to receive the opportunity to participate in the event. |
| |
|
| WHAT YOU GET |
The winning artist will receive the opportunity to participate in 1 Day of Art, with travel accommodations provided and two nights’ stay in Copenhagen provided by Hotel Fox.
(t)here will also extend invitations to participate in the event to five other artists, who must arrange their own travel and accommodations for the event. The 6 chosen Talenthouse artists will collaborate with six other artists from around the world to participate in 1 Day of Art.
The final original art pieces from the event will provide content for the internationally acclaimed art magazine (t)here, and will serve as a springboard for other branded exhibitions, installations, and events. |
