I am the artist known and creator of The Death Head, my stile is Modern Symbolism. My creations consist of human subjects with animal skulls.

Bio Alonso Estrada, was born in 1979 in Fort Worth, Texas in USA, but in 1983 to 1998 was raised and living in Nuevo Laredo, Tam. Mexico. Now he is well known in the art seine by the artistic name of The Death Head. In 01/01/05 he was one of 5 winners in the Keep a Breast belt design contest world wide. Technique and Stile- He is inspired by the mythology, symbolism and folklore of the Day of the Dead from Mexico, he adds animal skulls to human subjects. He thinks that he is taking it a little bit farther by adding the different animal skull instead of a regular human skull, this is that ache individual animal has different characteristic's that distinguishes them from each other. At the end it is easy to see that the final product resembles a modern indigenous shaman and as a shaman, his message is for all humans to be closer to nature or find a valence in their lives, valence that is found in colors like black and withe, god and evil, or living and dying.

Influences As a self learned artist his first influences wear 80' Cartoons, comic books, and coloring. But later on in his courier he wold open his eye to the great masters of Fine arts as Jose Guadalupe Posada, Caravaggio, Jean-Baptiste Oudry, Jackson Pollock, Goya, Egon Schiele, Pablo Picasso, Max Ernst, Mark Rothko, Francis Bacon, Balthus, and Lucian Freud. All sow Conceptual artist as Dinos and Jake Chapman.
