The Stan Lee Foundation is a non-profit organization that seeks to provide access to literacy, education and the arts throughout the nation. The Foundation will provide guidance, leadership and resources with other organizations that share its passion for quality in these fields.
Todd McFarlane is a cartoonist, writer, toy designer and entrepreneur, best known for his work in comic books, such as the fantasy series Spawn. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, McFarlane became a comic book superstar due to his work on Marvel Comic's Spider-Man franchise. He later helped form Image Comics, pulling the occult anti-hero character Spawn from his high school portfolio and updating him for the 1990s. Spawn was a popular hero in the 1990s and encouraged a trend in creator-owned comic book properties.
Prismacolor is a brand of professional artists' supplies originated by Berol in 1938, and now manufactured by Sanford, the makers of Sharpie markers. Among the items in the Prismacolor line are color pencils, Art Stix, pastels, watercolors, and alcohol-based permanent art markers.
