Bio
Scott Perkin aka Scottacus Anthony graduated with a First Class Honours Degree from the Arts University College at Bournemouth, studying BA (Hons) Fashion Studies.
Coming from a sculptural background at Foundation level, he is strongly interested in the innovative and period pattern cutting, drape and how structure can be created. His work is strongly influenced by 18th and 19th Century European Menswear, Pre World War History, and Fantasy.
This interest in pattern cutting was fuelled further in the Summer 2009,
working at Alexander McQueen Womenswear as an intern.
He has exhibited at Somerset House set as part of the Showstudio;
Fashion Revolution exhibition 2009.
More recently he was short listed to design a red carpet dress for
Supermodel Veronica Webb, as well as being short listed for the
Vintage Vogue sewing competition.
His jewellery and menswear was worn and trend spotted at London Fashion Week (Sept 10 and Feb 11) when worn by Creative director, Fashion & Celebrity hair/make up artist Oscar Alexander.
His Graduate Collection 21st Century Petroglyphs was seen at Graduate Fashion Week 5th to 8th June 2011 held in Earls Court 2, London.
