The world renowned Paul Taylor Dance Company sets the global standard for contemporary dance excellence; since its founding in 1954, the Company has performed in 524 cities and 64 countries. The Paul Taylor Dance Company, together with DanceMedia, is inviting aspiring dancers to submit a video showcasing their dance ability, style and why they deserve to receive an exclusive year-long scholarship to The Taylor School in New York. Two winners will be selected by Paul Taylor, Dance Magazine, 'So You Think You Can Dance' Director Matthew Diamond and two Taylor Company members.
Paul Taylor's Choice
The two selected dancers (one male and one female) will receive:
- One-year scholarship to The Taylor School, valued at $4,500*
- One pair of tickets to attend a performance during the 2012 Paul Taylor Dance Company New York Season at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center with a backstage tour and a meet and greet with Paul Taylor Dance Company members
- An invitation to attend an open rehearsal during the 2012 Paul Taylor Dance Company New York Season at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center
- A copy of Paul Taylor's autobiography, Private Domain
- One-year subscription to Dance Magazine
- Exclusive Paul Taylor Dance Company merchandise
Two runners-up will receive:
- An invitation to attend an open rehearsal during the 2012

The two highest voted artists will each receive:
