Biografie Sarah-jane is a freelance footwear designer, who graduated last summer from the London College of Fashion, gaining a BA in "Product Design and Developent for the Fashion Industries: Footwear". After being awarded Draper's Magazines' "Student Footwear Designer of the Year" in 2007 she took a year out to work in Montreal, Canada as a designer for a prolific high street retailer, Le Chateau; and then went on to create styles for the designer brand Fornarina in Civitanova Marche, Italy.

Incredibly passionate about design and inspired by contrasting themes, Sarah-jane likes to challenge conventionality in her designs, the idea that something so banal as a shoe can be transformed into an object of intrigue and beauty with a dramatic profile, luxurious leathers, a sumptuous palette, and use of unconventional materials and techniques - such as laser-cut steel, embellished brass and hand carved oak.
