Bio In 1979 rford was born under the king and queen with a skeleton arm. His right arm from the elbow down to the finger tips was completely skeletal. Ashamed of their accursed son they banished him to a cold chamber room at the top of a 10,000 foot tower. There from infant to adulthood rford brewed darkly, tormented over his condition. Traveling on the wind sometimes he thought he could hear the faint sounds of joy coming from the children in the village far below. As quickly as he heard the distant sounds of pleasure he dismissed them. His only companion was a pigeon named bubs. bubs liked to peck at his bone arm. His only contact with humanity was from a man in a black cloth mask who would bring him three square meals a day. And the man in the black cloth mask never spoke a word to him no matter how many times he asked questions. It was always the same, day after day, three times a day, the distant sounds of footsteps walking up the wet stone stairs, the unclasping of a latch, the clang of the metal food plate as it hit the floor, and then the steps slowly receding giving way once more to the void. Late one evening rford brewed and paced in circles more than usual until his blueness overwhelmed him and his bone arm produced a puddle of gelatinous blue. The gelatinous blue slowly enveloped him and carried him out across the lightening gray sky.

Influences Philip Guston, Bukowski, my friend's artwork more than anyone, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Joseph Campbell, Sam Raimi, Peter Jackson (Dead Alive), Shamans, Native tribes such as the Shuar tribe in South America. Organic farmers and environmentalists who lead the battle against pesticide companies, vegetable factory farmers, and cattle factory farmers. and most of all my girlfriend and her sociology studies that fascinate me.
