Since 2010, GeneratioNext, the premier music platform for buzz worthy emerging artists from across the nation, has played a pivotal role in the music industry as well as in the careers of many artists, some of whom have literally launched themselves on the GeneratioNext stage. Now, GeneratioNext, alongside partner DJBooth.net, is inviting artists to submit either an MP3 or a video demonstrating their ability as a singer for the chance to perform for GeneratioNext in New York in March 2012 at SOB's.

GeneratioNext's Choice

One winner will be invited to perform live at GeneratioNext which is hosted by HOT97's radio personality Peter Rosenberg in New York in March 2012. In addition, highlights of the winner's performance will be featured and promoted on GeneratioNext and DJBooth's social media channels. Travel and one night's accommodation in New York will be provided.

One runner-up (as selected by GeneratioNext) will have their submission featured on GeneratioNext and DJ Booth's social media channels.

People's Choice

The highest voted artist will have their submission featured on GeneratioNext and DJ Booth's social media channels.

How Winner(s) Will Be Chosen

GeneratioNext will choose the winner(s) from all qualified submissions with special consideration for the top voted entries. A qualified submission is one which meets all the Terms & Conditions, Guidelines and Official Rules.

Guidelines
- Submissions must be no longer than 10 minutes
- Submissions must be comprised of the participant's original material (i.e. the participant cannot use or incorporate third-party copyright protected content/material(s), or any other content/material that infringes on the rights of any third-party, in whole or in part, in their submission).
- Participants must submit their video using a Vimeo or YouTube URL and then click 'Get Video'. Videos must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the submission deadline.
Official Rules
- Open to entrants from the United States of America
- Entrants must be individuals and not a band
- The winner understands that they will have no ownership rights in and to their appearance for GeneratioNext in New York in March 2012.
- The winner will receive flights and accommodation for one night in New York in March 2012
- If the winner lives within a reasonable distance of New York, ground transport will be provided in lieu of flights.
- No cash substitution will be provided in lieu of flights or accommodation.
- The winner, runner-up and highest-voted entrant shall provide a 6 month promotional licence to GeneratioNext to use the submissions for promotional and marketing purposes.
- GeneratioNext shall have the right, but not the obligation, to use the winning, runner-up or highest voted submissions for promotional purposes.
