I create artwork, painting and mixed-media, in acrylic, that is a window on my profound emotions, an attempt to combine a part of my being in order to reach the others. A bridge between spiritual belief, dreams and reality. A way to transcend doubts, questioning and certainty, which are, in fact, only illusions. Painting is not only display of colours, but a transmuting in meditation and motion of the soul.

Bio
Born Pascale, Nancy Houvert in Hyères (Var), France October 30th 1963. Since 1998, in Montreal, I express myself through abstract art. Influences
I was nurtured by smells, landscapes, colors and the rich and unique nature found in my native Provence, and a rich art history (ex. Voto, Roman church, medieval castle and chapel and Provençal art) and my many travels, I founded in all of those my love of colors and part of my inspiration.
I guess my sister Patricia was the one who influence and inspire me to paint and explore, even if our style are completely different.
