Working in a style termed 'organic realism' I create visual worlds of organisms, creatures, life an matter through the recreation of lines, patterns, rhythms, textures, proportions and scales found in nature.
I hope that my work has a chance to be taken in as a whole and then deciphered through a more intimate inspection as the work has multiple scales of worlds that exist together; much like our own.

Bio I am an Illustrator at Heart and an Artist in Soul, with an educational background in fine art drawing and architectural studies.
Influences As with many artists I am most strongly influenced by the patterns of life found in the natural world. Artistically I find inspiration in the works of Outsider and Art Brut artists like Madge Gill and Augustin Lesage; I am in love with the spiritual nature of the works, speaking in a language only known to the soul. If I were name dropping I'd also throw in Aubrey Beardsley, Carl Faberge, Philip Guston, Frank Auerbach, M.C. Escher, Mark Rothko and Ernst Haeckel.
