Biografía Born in Moscow, Russia I moved to Tampa, Florida at the age of six. Art and travel where always a major part of my upbringing and development as an artist. I was exposed to many museums by the age of 10 and around the age of 14 I started to take a course with a tutor for classical drawing. This would become a major turning around point in my art because it would make me more technically skilled. At 18 I went to Florida State and majored in Interior Design. However not until recently have I realized what direction exactly I wish to go in and what my art is really for.
Color has always been of great importance to me and thus holds the greatest presence in all my works as well as throughout different mediums. Line which I have taken to express as Flow or Organics is equally important but it is a newer aspect of my art so it is only in the origins of its development. I have had many inspirations in my life. Some brought about by sorrow others by happiness but all equally important. Main influences have been drawn from Aztec/Indian artwork and patterns, Lisa Frank, Kandinsky, Mozart, Jazz, Tango, Colors, Nature, Le Corbusier, Frank Lloyd Wright ,Russian Folklore, Aztec and Mayan art, Indian Patterns, Gems, Art Nouveau, Klimt, Piet Mondrian, Duchamp \"The Fountain\", Graffiti, geometry, Urban Culture, Bubbles, Peacocks, Hokusai,Japanese block print, Street Art, Travels, Books, Haruki Murakami, Nicholas Roerich, Music, Dancing, Friends and Family, among many others. The idea is to look at the world and to create something with your art whether it’s true to reality or it’s completely dreamlike. The most important thing is creating for the greater good. Art should bring smiles to people of all ages. Art should be expressed in all of its forms. That is what I seek to do.
I have a profound interest in art in all its expressions from religious art to the art of tattoo. It is important to seek out new mediums because they allow you to grow as an artist. Murals, graphic design, graffiti, sketching, drafting, illustration, clothing design, object design, stencils, and fine art have all been channels to express my own creativity.
