For over a decade Monte Reitz has offered a suite of creative services from illustration to production design for a modest list of clients including The Metropolitan Opera at Lincoln Center, Nokia, CNN, JPMorgan, BNP Paribas, Cartoon Network, Better Homes and Gardens, MORE Magazine, Family Circle, Real Simple, The Today Show, Good Morning America, The Nate Berkus Show, and The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
In 2006 he created WonderWares Inc., a media company offering audio and video production and distribution services for web and mobile. In 2011 he started SKYCLIP Inc., a digital video production agency specializing in 1-5 minute storytelling for web, mobile, tablet, and emerging media platforms.
Monte has had the privilege of creating commissioned fine art pieces for the Andy Roddick Foundation, Deliver the Dream Foundation, and the Austen Riggs Center where he was asked to draw the Managing Director’s portrait, an honor held several times by the late Normal Rockwell. Monte was recently a finalist in the Outwin Boochever portrait contest held by the National Portrait Gallery in London, is a groupie at the Society of Illustrators in New York City, a founding member of The Long Now Foundation, and hopes to create imagery documenting broader conflicts and achievements in America today.
